This place is a hidden gem. Right on the lake and a convenient location to where we were going. The house is clean and communication was great with the hosts. The stars look amazing from this place. If we are ever back in the area, we will stay here again.

The view is beautiful! Nothing like waking up, watching the sun shimmering on the lake while drinking coffee. Beautiful home, plenty of space, and comfortable all around. The host responded quickly when we had questions, and the welcome folder had plenty of recommendations for local food, boat rentals, etc. I would recommend 1836 Texas Kitchen for dinner, we ate there both nights!

The hosts were amazing and so responsive, even for just very easy minor questions. The property was great, as advertised. Very peaceful spot…stargazing on the dock is a must!

Property and house very clean and comfortable (the beds were awesome). We really enjoyed sitting on the deck and just chilling. Very quiet and relaxing. Even caught some fish from the boat ramp. Will definitely book again. Just know before arriving that the icemaker/water on the frig isn't working. So be sure to grab some bagged ice before arriving. Simple fix.

Joel and Mikel were the most attentive host I have ever had. My parents and I enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the view of the lake and listening to the different birds all around us.

Quiet property with beautiful views of Lake Palestine. The owners were very responsive. The property is rural enough to enjoy the peace and quiet but close enough to restaurants to have food delivered. Perfect weekend getaway.

Host was extraordinary. Responsive, helpful and very welcoming. Many nice touches, extremely clean and organized home. Every convenience you could want. Beds were top of the line comfortable. Kitchen had everything one needed for our stay. Home was very well laid-out, no skimping on comfortable furnishings.

Wonderful!!

Some friends and I stayed here as a midpoint location for the Tyler Azalea Trail, and the Palestine Dogwood train ride. The house was exactly as described and was well and above what we expected. The host was very helpful with questions and info about the area. Would definitely stay here again!

Quiet get away for some family time

Visiting to ride the Texas State Railroad in Palestine and wanted a family friendly option close to Tyler and on the water. The house has everything you need, loved fishing from the dock and making s’mores in the fire pit.

Great location on the lake and near Pine Dunes Golf Course

House was exactly as described! It was clean and smelled wonderful. Lovely being right on the lake. We really enjoyed the holiday decor. House is an easy 15 minutes drive to Pine Dunes Golf course.

Enjoyable relaxing stay. House was decorated and stocked very well. Easy to contact and quick response by owner. First time for us to use VRBO. Good experience for special occasion, but very expensive.

Great place to stay!

Everything about this property is pleasant and is a great place to stay. It was professionally cleaned and very spacious. The lake and dock were very and the fan on the back deck was a great touch! Joel is very helpful and left a binder with coupons, hotspots and helpful instructions with the house. I definitely recommend for anyone looking for a place to stay!

The Deck at the Lake House

My niece and I very much enjoyed the early morning coffee on the deck. We watched the migrating geese flying low to the water. The home was very clean and decor was nice and bedrooms were spacious.
