Crystal Lake is one of the most beautiful lakes in Northern Michigan. Covering just under 10,000 acres, it’s the ninth largest inland lake in the state and among the cleanest lakes in the United States, boasting crystal-clear blue waters. The lake and the surrounding townships are beloved by those who appreciate Michigan’s raw and natural beauty and the rural charm of Northern Michigan.

On sunny days, the turquoise hues of the lake rival those of the Caribbean. You’ll discover endless opportunities for boating, fishing, swimming, water skiing, tubing, and beyond. There’s nothing more refreshing than a dip in Crystal Lake on a hot summer afternoon.

As if the lake itself weren’t enough, the charming town of Frankfort, Michigan, is just minutes away from our lake home. Here, you can enjoy a delicious smash burger, indulge in some delightful ice cream and fudge, and stroll along the beach with Lake Michigan as your beautiful backdrop. There’s plenty of shopping in town, and you can even swing by some of the best brewing companies in the state.

Additionally, some of the best golf courses in Michigan are located near our lake house, offering fantastic opportunities for golf enthusiasts. The surrounding townships are incredibly charming as well—grab ice cream in the tiny town of Beulah, venture to the stunning Lake Michigan shoreline in Frankfort, or make the 39-mile trip to either the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore or Traverse City, which boasts over 50 different wineries located on the 45th Parallel, aligning it with some of the most prestigious wine regions in Europe.
