We stayed there two different times after my mom had a stroke, with my brother coming from back east and me from southern Cal to be there and help. Everything was very up in the air and Aubrey was so helpful and amazing when we needed to extend our stay several times, always at the last minute. « Cute vintage feel to the house with modern amenities. Easy walk to the beach with miles of beach walking. Fenced yard was a real plus for traveling with our dog. Easy access to local towns of Arcata and Eureka for dining and shopping. And of course conveniently located for exploring the redwood forest, the real reason for our visit.This is a real gem and we will return if in the area for the future. »

« Family of 8 came and attended a graduation. The house was large, spacious ,allowed for privacy .I appreciated the ample seating . The bean bag chair was a big hit with the child. The kitchen has the basics so I’m glad that we brought some specialty cookware and knives. Out door was spacious and fully fenced so we felt comfortable letting the child play outside. « I needed to visit the area at the last minute and I really lucked out with this home. You can tell you are staying in someone’s home not a house that has been “flipped” for short term rentals. It is super cozy with high quality furnishings and the kitchen is stocked better than anywhere else I’ve stayed. It’s hard to tell from the listing but there are 3 separate rooms for sleeping. One queen bed in one room, two twin beds in another room and a futon in the tv room. I visited to help a family...

« Our cottage was beautiful as was the garden and very pet friendly while the kitchen provided all we needed to cook simple meals. The location was central and allowed the option to walk everywhere.My only reservation was no light in the shower or over the sink but those were small inconveniences compared to the many amenities available. Absolutely loved the artwork and overall eclectic decor! »
