Everything the listing said and more. The balcony is huge and is close enough to the ocean that you can hear it at night - VERY relaxing. Speaking of, the beds were incredible. We all slept so well for the 9 days we were there and we can’t wait to come back!

A great time was had by all!

We absolutely loved our stay at this condo! It was very clean and well-maintained, with a fully stocked kitchen that had everything we needed for cooking. The location was perfect — just a short walk to the beach and the boardwalk, where we enjoyed shopping and trying out local restaurants. Our group included adults, teenagers, and a toddler, and there was something for everyone to enjoy. The condo overlooks the pool, kiddie pool, and hot tub, with a beautiful view of the beach. On the bay side, we made great use of the lazy river and BBQ pits one afternoon, which was a highlight of our trip. We would definitely stay here again!

Nice Condo and fun for all

This was our first stay at Destin West and wow, what a nice experience with plenty of things to do. The room was very clean and well kept, communication with the owner was great. I will master bed was not comfortable at all. bathrooms were very nice, but the showers were very small and the toilets were snug against the wall. If I were a large person it would have been awful. The AC made a very irritating bubbling like sound the entire time. The entire place is pretty much smoke free which is a huge plus for us. The beach wasn’t huge, but that was actually great as it made for shorter walks carrying our beach stuff. Considering there are pools available at the bay side and the gulf side that you have access too, there was always room for pool time. The lazy river was amazing and probably the largest hot tubs I’ve ever seen. The location was ok, but traffic coming from Destin was a nightmare, literally bumper to bumper all day and all evening long so we certainly didn’t go far, luckily there were restaurants really within walking distance. The chair service on the beach was a pain. Although 2 chairs and an umbrella are included with this condo, you have to go stand in line really early if you want a chair on the front row on the water. Even though we tried to pay extra ahead we were told there weren’t any more reserves Available. Literally I would go down every morning at 8:30 and stand in a line for 30 mins or more. Overall we had a great experience and would go back again.

We loved our stay! Conveniently located to many beaches and attractions. Two 15yr olds loved the multiple pools and lazy river. Had some seaweed in gulf few days but went over to the bay and down the road to other beaches. Condo was perfect and view amazing! How responded fast every time I had any questions.

Our family came for a week at the beach. The property was as close as you could get. The pools were very nice and spacious. The only disappointing aspect was the 3rd bedroom. It is really a very small storage area with bunks. Great for kids but a little small for adult kids.

Fall Break

Everything in the apartment is new and it was perfectly clean from the kitchen to the bedrooms and bathrooms. Linens and towels appeared new. My kids had a great time going from one pool to the next including the lazy river and the beautiful pool which the property overlooks. Property manager was readily available to answer any questions we had. Would recommend this to any family with young children or teenagers. We had a great time here and would definitely book again.

After a last minute cancellation at another unit, we booked this unit and couldn’t have been happier. Not only was the unit beautiful, but the entire space was perfect. From two king sized beds plus a bunk room to the large kitchen and balcony. The balcony is perfect for watching fireworks. The unit was meticulously clean and make us feel so comfortable.

Great condo on the beach. Great location and close to everything. Private beach within a couple minutes walking distance from the door step with an umbrella and 2 beach chairs provided. Few minute walk to a nice little coffee shop on the beach as well as a beach bar and a few food options. Few minute drive to Destin to the east with a lot of great restaurant and water activity options. 15-20 minute drive to the Air Force Base and airport to the north. My son is in the Navy and was recently stationed there which was the reason for my stay. Easy access to parking garage and condo. Condo itself is clean and roomy with very thorough instructions and great attention to detail with all the amenities including smart TV’s and cable in each room. Easy access to huge gym and huge pool. The entire facility is very clean and quiet. The host is accessible for any questions or concerns and very accommodating and met my every need. Will definitely book again when back in the area.

Great Birthday Trip

Had a wonderful stay at Destin West. This is my favorite beach. Weather was cool but we enjoyed every minute. Would stay in this condo again

Spring Break

Beautiful condo with amazing views. Just steps to the beach and a short walk to the boardwalk for all your dining needs. The skybridge was great to get to the lazy river and hop over to Ricks Place. We will be back!

Condo at Destin West Gulfside

Enjoyed our stay for the month of February. Beautiful view of the gulf and the large swimming pool from the large, nicely furnished balcony on the top floor. Condo was recently updated with appliances including a very nice washer and dryer. Master bath was large with plenty of plush towels. Parking was easy and covered. Appreciated the carts that were available to move belongings to the unit. Will certainly stay here or another unit that Chris has available next winter.
