Wyndham SEA GARDENS

Great Girl's Beach Week

The 2 bedroom/2 bath unit we stayed in was well laid out, and the complimentary supplies were appreciated.We enjoyed the beach and many pool areas.Kim, the activities director, was exceptional. We enjoyed the daily updates and trivia games by the pool!

Beautiful Area

My friend and I have stayed at this resort for 5 years and we love it. It's in a great location centrally located to shopping and great restaurants. The only reason I gave it an overall 4 star instead of my usual 5 star rating is this year the condo we were assigned to did not have as good of a view as our previous years. We love it when we are on the intercoastal side. Maybe next year. We will continue to use this resort as long as we can get it!!

Did not like how VRbO’s advertising was deceiving and the dreadful policy on check in of not letting us know up front where we would be living. They have six buildings on the property - some not very desirable. We refused our first offer but in the end had a lovely unit in the tower after many phone calls and discussion/begging. Because of this experience will not use or recommend VRBO again - especially when the accommodation is at a timeshare resort.

Shekia was so nice Ty Shekia.

Property was as expected very nice. Great location. We usually get rental car and the rate was 650 for 5 nights we took a chance and skipped car rental and quite frankly it would have been more hastle to have a car rental. Use the circuit (ask if u don’t know) or Uber or just walk so convenient location. Shekia who works at guest services was very nice and gave the ins and outs of the property she was very friendly and really help make the stay even nicer. Overall high ratings

Never deal with Christian

He moved us to a cheaper property within two days of our arrival so he could make more money on us. We were in a group of three separate reservations and his line to us all were the same claiming that owners never did get back to him hence moving us to a different location.

Pompano beach condo

We enjoyed our stay in pompano beach. The condo was not on the beach, but was a very short walk. The photo is misleading. The condo was not part of the 4-5 story building in the photo, which was fine with us, but still misleading. I got some messages before our stay that made it seem like there was some confusion with our reservation. It worked out fine and we got the space we needed when we arrived. I would stay here again.

Bad policies

I paid 2 months ahead of time for a 15 night stay at a two bedroom luxury condo at Wyndham Sea Gardens. Christian and Resort Pros only had us for three nights. After much hassle with Christian and Wyndham, we got four more nights. Then we were forced to move to a one bedroom for the second week! (Again only a confirmed reservation for three days at a time, and the reservation is only updated on the last day as you’re being asked to leave.) We had to cancel our guests for the second week. VRBO said if the owner wouldn’t respond, they would try to find us another place. What can you get on one days notice? The property was ok, but, the hassle, stress and forced move made for a difficult vacation.. Make sure you are always dealing directly with the actual owner and that you are confirmed for your entire stay!

Property owner last minute cancellation

Property was as advertised with minor issues being dated decor and no streaming services. Much more concerning was the last minute cancellation of our 14 day stay booked back in August. The management company was able to secure 9 of our 14 day booking but we were left without accommodations for the last 5 days. We were subsequently told by some people we met that this is not a unique situation. It often happens when the property owner can secure a higher rate closer to the actual booking date. This definitely appears to be the case here which is unfortunate.

Friendly people, relaxing atmosphere, GREAT time

Getting the down sides out of the way first: online picture of the exterior makes this look like a more luxurious high rise than what it is (not a real downside, to me, but it is misleading), housekeeping seemed too understaffed to respond to our requests (but zero complaints about cleanliness) and we got bumped down to a unit with too few sleeping spots with very short notice. BUT—it ended up fine. Even our 1-bedroom unit had plenty of square footage for us and our three children. Loved the beach music, tiki bar, white lights, beautiful landscape, and choice of pools. The guests and the staff were very friendly. And even being across the street from the beach, it was a very short walk with a safe crosswalk and respectful drivers. We would love to come back to this same place, just with a 2-bedroom unit next time!
