Not a big fan of contactless check in/out. When issues arise, a speedy return call would go a long way. Not 3 hours later. Was also asked if I had a pet with me and I said no as that would have cost extra.
The room although was obviously renovated at some point but it had a horrible HORRIBLE smell. Like someone kept an animal that made messes (no carpeting mind you) and tried to hide the smell with no success by maybe using febreeze. If you allow pets, you should have rooms designated SOLEY for animal visitors.
We were to spend 3 nights. Only stayed one. Called and texted the phone number to say we were leaving and that the room (room 4) had a really bad odor and wouldn't be able to tolerate it. Weather was not nice so would have spent more time indoors than usual. Although when you left and came back, the smell just wanted to knock you over like a ton of bricks.
So, having said all that I HAD NEVER even asked for a refund when leaving a message. BUT TO NOT HAVE THE CURTISY TO CALL AND APOLOZIGE????? Never again.
The only true reason I chose this place was because of the free parking and of course had a decent rating. Been to Hollywood before and know from experience how parking works.
Seriously, beware!!!!!
