Does not meet my expectations

We arrived at night from the airport and was very difficult to find the address resort, the place was very far from the beach and they had offered us a shuttle to go to the beach and when we arrived they told us that there was not shuttle to go to the beach, they offered to us an apartment in the floor 9th and we were not happy with this. We ended up canceling the reservation and we had to go to another hotel for rest of the week we had gone on vacation in Pompano beach

Rented 4 units for family. Delayed check in for one unit. 3 of 4 units located in units with LOTs of road noise. Took a long time to drive to beach because of construction and traffic. Enjoyed time at Royal Vista. Enjoyed mini golf, heath club, pools and walking path. No water in unit on checkout day because of water main break

Condo was spacious!

Overall very happy with our stay. Tina gave a great description so we were prepared as well as other reviewers were accurate in their reviews. Pros - very spacious and clean condo. Animal show exceeded our expectations. Pool area was nice - wished the slide was open more consistently for the kids. Cons - they were two hours behind schedule and we couldn’t check in until 6pm. They did give us 2 drink coupons as an apology. As soon as attempting to check in they whisk you over to the sales area and push very hard to sign you up for a sales pitch to buy into the property. Tina warned us this would happen! But we had to get pretty pushy to get them to stop and they still called twice to try and get us to schedule a time. Took a little longer to get to restaurants and beach due to insane traffic not sure if that’s normal or due to spring break crowds.

The property is fantastic! The conod unit was very clean and nicely decorated, with a great balcony. The property is lovely, with great pools. We had a fantadtic time, and would definitely go back there.

Something to do each day and entertainment most nites. Very clean with nice pools . Activity staff is great , working hard and multi tasking, stressed but still doing what needed to keep people happy ,short staffed like everywhere. Been coming for many years!

Won't stay again

Our stay was definitely not what we were expecting. The area: The resort is a gated community; however, the surrounding area is located in the slums, with Dollar Discount, Rainbows, even the Dunkin' was swamped with unfriendly people. If we needed to go to a store, we ventured to Dr. Lauderdale. Won't be staying in this area again. Also, when we were by the pool one night there was a group of around 5-6 people with many kids. They had numerous suitcases and didn't appear to belong in the resort. The gentleman was yelling on the phone talking about DCF. No offense, not what I want to hear on vacation. Staff: Nothing but harassing and RUDE. When we checked in, the front desk was friendly, HOWEVER, they then make you go to the other set of desks to get your room key where the time share staff then harass you to by a time share. We mentioned that we were only staying for 4 nights, and we were not interested nor had the time to sit in on the presentation. The gentleman then continued to harass, calling daily and even stopping us in the hallway. Such a turn off. The bartender (woman with tattoos) and cleaning staff - SUPER rude. The bartender was not friendly, with no social skills whatsoever. On our last day, the cleaning woman knocked on our door and didn't even give us a second to open the door when she barged in, asking if we were leaving that day. UNACCEPTABLE. Cleanliness: My son got a UTI, which is believed to be from the hot tub.

Stayed in the Fountain Building with a Pool View balcony. Room/suite was perfectly laid out and had all the amenities we could have needed. Property had great facilities, although wish it had an actual playground for kids.

It’s a Time Share

A very nice condo and the pictures are accurate. The property is well kept, easy check in and check out. They have a lot to offer to enhance your vacation. The pool is beautiful and the slide was a lot of fun. The room is an end unit and there’s a stairway next to it, so it was extra quiet at the end of the hall. The only thing that I didn’t like is they pressured me to sit through a Time Share presentation and when I declined, they still tried to get me to spend 2 hours to listen to it; Even offered me a free 7 night stay. Even knowing the sales pitch will come the next time I stay there, I would stay again .
