An outdoor dining and lounge area along with a 55" TV under roof are available in any weather either day or night. There is also a dining area between the pool and yard with a large umbrella that is a favorite for morning coffee, sunny lunches and sunset cocktails.
The nighttime landscape lights are magical and provide a perfect backdrop for romantic evenings.
The home is located in a quiet neighborhood on a side street with no traffic. The pool is on the sunny south side of the property and gets all day sun exposure.

As advertised - Smart, polished, private luxury
As advertised, this house is great. Totally stocked and up-to-date with attention and polish given to every detail. Once on the property you really do feel like you are at your own private resort. Richard was a great host…very attentive, available, and clearly attuned to making sure we had a great experience (even with some pretty rainy weather). Would definitely recommend!!!

Excellent Property
The rental process is as easy and efficient as can be. The host/owner, Richard, spoke and texted me before, during and after the stay providing us with helpful tips and advise. The property was tastefully designed and in great shape. Professionally maintained with weekly pool and landscape services were appreciated. High-end appliances, modern furniture, well equipped kitchen and laundry were also appreciated. Very clean and well organized. We brought our 4 year old grandson with us and so the spacious backyard and pool made for an ideal play and relaxing time. Without a doubt one of the better properties we’ve occupied.

A slice of paradise
Just returned from a week at Richard’s. The house was even nicer than described - the pictures don’t do the backyard justice - it is beautifully landscaped, private and quiet! It was so nice to come home from dinner the first night we were there to see the lighting throughout the yard and in the pool. The kitchen was very well- equipped and motivated us to stay in and cook a few nights.
Dealing with Richard was easy and he was always happy to offer suggestions for things to do (although the pool was so inviting we rarely left the house!).

Spectacular!!
I have rented a lot of places and have to say everything about this place was so high end. The beds were so comfortable, bathrooms like new and loved the cooking range.
The pool was really nice and cleaning service were so attentive. Landscaping and lighting were goegeous. Well worth the stay. Neighborhood was quiet with great access to everything we needed.
Property Manager was amazing as well. Would definitely return. Thanks for an incredible vacation.

Perfect Spot
This property is truly spectacular and the owners were amazing to work with. They gave helpful suggestions before arriving, while we were there and responded immediately to any questions we had. The house also had every amenity needed. The owners really thought of everything someone traveling would need. The location could not have been better. The property is in close proximation to the beaches, downtown, and all the conveniences you need when traveling away from your home. Truly a perfect vacation. Thank you!

I wish I could give this property 10 Stars!
We spent six weeks at Richard's amazing home, and it's hard to accurately tell you how wonderful it was. First, as beautiful as the pictures are, the property is even nicer - the inside and outside are pristine, and they look like what you see when you look at the listing, but better. The house itself is well laid out, with bedrooms/bathrooms in two separate wings. We had my adult children with us for a week and it was simple for everyone to have their privacy while enjoying some time together. Everything you could ever want to cook, clean, play, and live is at the house. It is incredibly well-appointed and everything is simple to find. The beds were so comfortable - yes we slept in both of them - with great mattresses and high end sheets. The bathrooms and kitchen have been redone, and they are all beautiful. The outside is the real crown jewel of this property. It is completely private and hidden from others by the large hedges. The heated pool was wonderful and we were able to use it regardless of the weather or temperature. The yard itself is enormous by Fort Lauderdale standards, and well groomed and flowering. There was someone who took care of the pool and landscaping while we were there. We particularly enjoyed the seating, large dining table and TV outside........even in the rain we were able to enjoy our meals in the open air - there is a very large covered lanai. The property is well located, and easily accessible to Whole Foods, Fresh Market, Trader Joe's or Publix.......and it was easy to walk to our favorite sushi restaurant and fish market in no time. Richard is very very responsive. We had some issues at the property and he was all over it. Don't hesitate to book this property. We can't wait to return.

10 Day Getaway!
Our trip to Bora Bora was canceled for the 2nd consecutive year and we were looking for a last-minute stateside getaway. The minute we walked in the front door we were impressed. We liked the BIG sliding glass door that opened right up to the outdoor space/pool. We went with another couple and the setup was great. The two master on suites are on opposite ends of the house, both of which walk out to the pool area. The pictures of the property listed on VRBO did not disappoint. The owner, Richard did a nice job making the home almost have a resort feel but also very comfortable and homey. You have everything you need at the house and if you don’t want to leave, you don’t have to. For the most part, we stayed at the house, and prepared our own meals. We found a fantastic fresh fish market called Fish Peddler that was a few blocks from the house. We also found a meat market called Guido’s that was exceptional!
Richard was very helpful with suggestions of restaurants and things to do in the area. We checked out a couple of the restaurants he suggested and they were very good and easy to get to. The cocktails at Kaluz were delicious! Any questions or concerns we had, Richard always answered his phone and/or text.
The house is located in a very quiet neighborhood but convenient to everything we needed. Liquor store was a couple blocks away, grocery store was less than a mile, and the fish/meat markets were both less than 2 miles away. We walked to Fort Lauderdale by the Sea which was 2 miles each way. We went sailing one day, and that was about 7 miles from the house. Overall, a great location and a great stay and we’d book again!

Feels like home
We stayed here from January 25th thru the end of March. And were very happy with our choice. The owner, Richard, was very easy to work with and easy to reach if we had any questions. Matt took care of the pool, usually on Wednesdays, which was crystal clear the entire time and automatically heated to 84 every day. Matt said he was available to assist us with anything but we had no issues or wants during our stay.
We primarily stayed lounging around the pool, enjoying the sun and shade all afternoon. The landscaping is beautiful.
The property is located in a very quiet neighborhood. A few blocks away are several good restaurants. Sushi, Italian, Indian, Mexican, Thai, Chinese, etc. We did mostly take out due to Covid, but that was fine as we enjoyed eating outside at the table by the pool. Multiple groceries nearby (Publix, Whole Foods, Fresh Market)
My partner runs and he says the best route is to cross rt 1 at 55th. Take 55th to Bay View and head south. 55th and Bayview have nice bike and walking paths and run thru nice neighborhoods.
I liked to walk after exercising in the home gym Richard has provided.
Usually I would cross at 55th, take Bayview to DuPont, to Commercial and then take Commercial east to Lauderdale by the Sea beach. It’s about 1.7miles one way and very enjoyable in the morning.
The house felt like home as soon as we arrived. Book this place! You I’ll enjoy it.
