The apartment is exclusively yours, without interruption for the duration of your stay, so relax, unwind, and make yourself at home.

After booking, you will be provided with a private keypad code that will remain active for the duration of your stay. This code will be automatically sent 24-48 hours before your arrival date. Keypad locks automatically every time door is shut.
# Pelican House Rules 🌴

Welcome to Pelican! To ensure everyone has a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable stay, we kindly ask that you follow the house rules below.

## Occupancy

* Only registered guests listed on the reservation may stay overnight.
* Any overnight guest not listed on the reservation will incur an **additional charge of $100 per guest, per night**.
* Day visitors are welcome provided the **maximum occupancy** of the home is never exceeded and all other house rules are followed.

## Parties & Events

* **Parties, events, and large gatherings are strictly prohibited.**
* Excessive noise, disruptive behavior, or violations of local ordinances may result in immediate termination of your reservation without refund.

## Quiet Hours

* Please respect our neighbors by observing **quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM**.
* Keep outdoor music and noise to a minimum during these hours.

## Parking

* A maximum of **3 vehicles** is permitted in the driveway.
* Please do not block sidewalks, neighboring driveways, or park on the grass.

## Smoking

* **Smoking and vaping are not permitted anywhere inside the home.**
* Evidence of indoor smoking or vaping may result in an additional cleaning fee.

## Pets

* Pets are welcome **only if the applicable pet fee has been paid prior to arrival.**
* If you bring a pet without paying the required pet fee, you will be charged the **original pet fee plus an additional unauthorized pet fee.**
* Guests are responsible for ensuring their pet does not cause damage to the property. Any pet-related damage, including but not limited to stains, urine, feces, scratches, excessive hair requiring additional cleaning, or other damage discovered by our cleaning staff after checkout, may result in additional cleaning, repair, or replacement charges.
* Please notify us promptly if your pet causes any damage or accident during your stay. We simply ask that you clean up after your pet and be a responsible pet owner so we can continue offering a pet-friendly home for future guests.

## Security

* Please **lock all doors and windows** whenever leaving the property.
* Return the house key to the lockbox at checkout.
* A **$150 replacement fee** will be charged for any lost, damaged, or unreturned key.

## Pool Safety

* Swim at your own risk.
* There is **no lifeguard on duty**.
* Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
* **No glass containers** are permitted in or around the pool area.

## Energy Conservation

* As Pelican is a large home, we kindly ask that you turn off lights when leaving a room or heading out for the day.
* Please keep all doors and windows closed while the A/C is running.

## Furniture & Property

* Please do not move indoor furniture outdoors.
* Please treat the home and its furnishings with care.
* If anything is accidentally damaged during your stay, please notify us as soon as possible so we can address it promptly.

## Prohibited Activities

The following are strictly prohibited:

* Parties or events
* Illegal activities of any kind
* Fireworks
* Open flames or candles inside the home
* Tampering with security or utility equipment
