Nestled on its own private finger island between the Intracoastal Waterway and the Atlantic Ocean, Terramar—also known as Terra Mar Island—is an exclusive and serene waterfront enclave in Pompano Beach. Accessible via a gated bridge, the neighborhood is defined by elegant single-family homes (many with private docks) and lush, tropical landscaping.
Residents enjoy private deeded beach club access complete with cabanas, picnic tables, showers, and BBQ facilities—enhancing that elusive resort-style feel. It’s a boaters’ paradise too—with direct ocean access from many docks and no fixed bridges to slow you down.
The atmosphere is peaceful and upscale, with a mature demographic (median age in the broader Terra Mar CDP is around 62). We have a localized HOA keeps standards high, ensuring beautifully maintained streets and communal areas.
*Some of our rules may sound stern but we just want to make sure we're all on the same page before we get you all checked in. Thanks in advance for taking a quick second to acknowledge them!*
1. If you are a local resident, you must contact us before booking.
2. Guest acknowledges that they will keep their noise level to a minimum after 10:00 pm sound will travel through the walls if too loud.
3. No parties or events allowed.
4. Guest must provide us with a valid working phone number.
5. NO SMOKING; guest acknowledges that no "smoking" includes the use of vape pens and marijuana. There will be a $300 charge per day of reservation if this rule is not followed.
6. Incense and candles are in the rental for guest enjoyment but please be cautious when burning and blowing out to avoid wax or ashes from damaging anything.
7. Please return games to their respective boxes after each use.
8. If you use the pool, please do so at your own risk.
9. There can not be any more than the allowed number of guests in or on the property at any one time, a violation could lead to a fee or the immediate removal of all guests without a refund. We will charge a $35 fee for every additional guest past the occupancy limit (8 people).
10. Late check-out fee of $50 (if not authorized) applies for check-outs after 10:00 am. We're sorry we have to charge this but we pay our housekeepers based on the agreed-upon checkout time and if they are unable to clean we still have to pay them.
11. Guests who make reservations for over 30 days must sign our standard lease agreement and agree to a background check before check-in (it will be provided before check-in).
12. No unauthorized pets allowed. Additional cleaning fee will be incurred if there is animal dirt/hair in the house in order to remedy for next guests.
13. Please be cautious of the white furniture/rugs/bedding. Unfortunately if damages or stains occur during stay, guest will incur additional cleaning fee in order to remedy for the next guests.
14. Excessively dirty units will incur an additional cleaning fee and will be evidenced with photos If not following any of our rules forces us to refund or discount an upcoming or existing guest you will be liable for the costs.
15. For your security and protection the property is equipped with an exterior, front door camera.
16. If any glitter or confetti is found at the property after check-out, an automatic additional cleaning fee of $150 will be assessed.
