« We choose this desert camp because of it’s size, with only 10 tents, which provided a wonderful stay as it felt small and intimate.
The owner and staff were lovely, and the owner is working hard on their eco friendliness both in camo and the surrounding lands.
Evening entertainment was provided, which was wonderful, along with a large fire pit and sand dune activities for those who wanted them.
The camo had several swing seats, outdoor seating and a veranda with seating. As well as a platform...
« Le Suryagarh est le meilleur hôtel de Jaisalmer. Nous avions hésité au départ car il est à 14 km de la ville mais, compte tenu de l'affluence touristique sur place et de la pression des sollicitations, être à l'écart est bien plus agréable. L'hôtel a été entièrement construit quelques années auparavant, imitant un fort / palais avec sa cour intérieure mais l'ensemble est fait avec goût et cela permet une grande qualité de confort. « We had an amazing time at the camp. Food was great, the accommodations were clean, cozy, and comfortable. The entertainment provided by local group of singers and dancers was well done. « It exceeded my expectations.. we had a good time.. although we planned for 3 nights which is little longer.. 2 nights is ideal.. food was good.. rooms and tents were very nice.. the evening program was also very nice.. we enjoyed their jeep safari and camel ride.. « Everything is quiet good , food entertainment. What can you expect in desert camp is basically there. The only problem is if you wish to enjoy night entertainment with glass of beer you can’t do that, even though they sell alcohol in the premises, you have to sit at the back of the other guests you can’t join them. Either they should stop alcohol altogether, if they sell it then they should allow them to sit and enjoy »
« The staff was helpful but the facility sucks. These were touted as luxury tents with attached toilet and bath. The toilet was non-functional. Right there this facility can only get a 0 on any rating scale from me. The linen was old and had not been changed. Imagine sleeping in a luxury tent on linen that has not been replaced. The tent itself was very dusty.
The evening cultural program was nice. The ambience was decent. And as I said some of the staff was trying to be helpful within the limits...
« Arrived after a long trip to a room that was not cleaned. Toilet was filthy. I was quickly ushered to another roomwhich haleaking toilet & bathwater was standing.
Heater did not work as power went out in the night. No hot water in the morning due to power outages. Good was the music entertainment & food was nice

« Amazing stay at this property, fantastic service, clean rooms and good food which will be more like homemade food ( which we liked) and not like a restaurant style.
Breakfast and dinner can be included in your stay which I recommend as this property is located a bit remote around 45 minutes from Jaisalmer.
