« I reserved a Basic Room, 2 Queen Beds for 2 nights, 34 days in advance. I paid $10 per night for the extra Queen bed, as I am a FEMALE travelling with a MALE first cousin. When we checked in, there was NO ONE in the office and we were told that the door was open and our key was in the room. We went in and discovered only ONE bed. « Bed was hard as a rock. The owner was rude to my dad over a deposit then changed his mind about it after seeing us. Was repeatedly going to call about changing locks but never did during a holiday weekend and I barely slept the entire time there despite using sleeping pills and alcohol. Hotel was too close to the road making any vehicle going by another way to wake us up. Was a horrible stay and will not recommend. »

« Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was quite dated but clean. Refrigerator worked but it had to be held closed. There was no breakfast but the coffee in the lobby was good. There was no coffee makers in the rooms. Didn’t use the pool or hot tub. It wasn’t bad for a night or two. There were a couple restaurants right next to the motel but Iron ridge is a really small town so there isn’t much around there, including a breakfast restaurant.
