À propos de cet hébergement

Retraite Russian River : Plage privée & chiens acceptés

  • Summary:

Experience the charm of this 3-bedroom, 2-bath riverfront cottage in Forestville, blending rustic knotty pine interiors with Wine Country cool. Enjoy direct river access, a private beach, intimate decks, and expansive gardens. Perfect for families, friends, and dogs, with beaches, wineries, Armstrong Redwoods, and scenic drives just minutes away.

    The Space:

This riverfront home sits just above the riverbank, offering a Sonoma County experience among towering redwoods and the gentle sound of flowing water. Inside, warm wood finishes and simple, thoughtful details create a welcoming atmosphere.

The main floor has a living room with a wood-burning stove and fireplace, perfect for relaxing or enjoying quiet evenings. The kitchen opens to a sunny dining area, ideal for meals with family or friends, and a small study overlooks the river, offering a quiet spot to work or read.

Upstairs, each bedroom has its own character and comfort. One features a queen bed and a private balcony with river views, while the other bedroom is more of an open loft with a queen bed, sweeping vistas, and a dedicated workspace (please note that the loft area is open with not door). The main floor bedroom also offers a queen bed, easy access to the living areas, and a smart TV for entertainment.

Outside, the home seamlessly blends indoor and outdoor living. Expansive decks and terraced patios invite you to lounge, grill, dine alfresco, or simply enjoy the scenery. Multiple seating areas tucked throughout the grounds provide quiet spots for reflection, conversation, or an evening stargazing under the night sky.

The terraced path leading down to the river allows for easy access to swimming, kayaking, or simply enjoying the water’s edge. The home also features flexible storage and bonus spaces beneath, perfect for stashing gear, toys, or anything you might need during your stay.

Every corner of the house and grounds is designed to encourage both shared moments and private reflection, creating a true riverfront retreat where guests can feel fully at ease and connected to the natural beauty surrounding them.

Please note: During the cold season, the house can get a bit chilly. While the main living area has a ductless heating system, and wood stover, and fireplace, the bedrooms and upstairs area can get a bit chilling. We provide extra space heaters and throw blankets to keep you feeling comfortable and cozy. After all, this is a rustic river cabin.

    Guest Access:

Guests have full access to the house, decks, patios, and riverfront. A staircase leads down to the river for swimming or kayaking. Parking is free for up to 3 vehicles.

    The Neighborhood:

Located in the Forest Hills community along the Russian River, this home offers a retreat surrounded by redwoods and wine country charm. Just steps from Mother’s Beach, it’s central location is close to local cafés, wineries, and scenic outdoor spots like Armstrong Redwoods and the Sonoma Coast—perfect for relaxing or exploring.

A car is recommended to explore the surrounding area. Free parking for 3 vehicles is available on-site. The river and nearby attractions, including beaches, wineries, and trails, are all easily accessible by car, while the home itself provides direct river access for swimming or kayaking.
