« We loved the townhouse but it seemed better suited for our home state of Texas than Portland. While perfect for the warm weather we had it seems like it could be chilly and dim during a Portland winter. Lots of great restaurants and shops nearby, a gym for our 22 year and a parking spot for our car made it perfect for exploring the greater Portland area. »

« We picked up our son, daughter-in-law and grand-daughter from the airport shortly after midnight. Our daughter-in-law had extensive surgery in India and the trio had been in India for almost 4 months. The surgery was a success but she is still pretty frail, particularly after the long flight. The clean, quiet house, tub to soak in and nice soft beds were much appreciated. Also, we were new to online booking and our host graciously answered all our questions and helped us through the process. »

« We absolutely enjoyed our stay at this oasis. Beautiful yard and gardens from the panoramic window view into the private backyard. After a day of hiking various trails, we often enjoyed our evening meal sitting on the patio. Completely updated kitchen with all amenities! Very comfortable king-size bed in a spacious bedroom. Great signage/instructions throughout (wifi, fireplace instructions, etc). If we are ever back in the Portland area, this is where we will be staying! »

« Overwhelmingly phenomenal. My personal experience was spectacular, partly because of the actual rental (the decor, the area, the elevator, The Deck!) but mostly because we got the opportunity to meet the owner herself, which is a gem of a person. You meet a lot of people traveling, but Vicki marked me profoundly. As for the actual site, we used it for 48h to visit Portland and Cannon Beach area, while on a 17 days tour of Oregon. The area is very high end, with really nice houses in the hills....

Ce n'est pas (plus) un 5 étoiles
"Hôtel 5 etoiles soit-disant, nous voulions nous faire plaisir dans un lieu d'exception, mais cet hôtel n'a pas dû être évalué depuis longtemps. Au mieux un 4 étoiles, gros problèmes de finition un peu partout (peinture défraîchies, plantes en plastique...), pas les accessoires d'un 5 étoiles que l'on aurait pu attendre dans la chambre, tout est payant (eau y compris...). Personnel à la réception aimable à première vue mais il faut faire attention à la facture, les avantages disparaissent au moment de payer, sans compter qu'il a complètement snober mon épouse à l'arrivée et au départ. Nous nous attendions à beaucoup mieux, c'est pourquoi nous ne recommandons pas. Le quartier peut être un peu anxiogène après quelques mètres. Seul le voiturier joue son rôle efficacement "
