The Seasonal Flower Fields Our view changes with the seasons, offering a different rhythm for every stay:
Peak Bloom (Jan - April): This is the farm’s most spectacular time of year, known as our Summer in Bloom Series. The fields are exploding with colour (Dahlias, Zinnias, Cosmos), and the energy is vibrant.
Your VIP Bonus: Every Saturday is our signature Gather & Bloom Twilight Pick. While these events sell out to the public, Villa Minto guests receive complimentary access. Step out of your private villa to enjoy the music, the food, and the sunset atmosphere, then retreat to your private deck whenever you like.
Autumn (May): The season winds down, the light softens, and the farm turns to rich textures and autumn tones. It’s the perfect time for misty mornings and crisp evenings on the deck.
Winter (Jun - Aug): The fields go dormant and the hills turn emerald green. This is our "Quiet Season"—ideal for heavy red wine, gathering around the outdoor fire pit, and watching the mist roll through the valley.
Spring (Sept - Nov): The farm wakes up. Watch the seedlings being planted and the first flush of life returning to the valley as the days get longer.

The Location Located in the Spring Valley of Flowerdale, just a scenic 90-minute drive from Melbourne and a stone's throw from the Yarra Valley. We are the perfect couples' retreat or luxury base for guests attending weddings at local venues:
Dining: Minutes away from exceptional dining at the Flowerdale Estate and Trawool Estate.
Nature: Surrounded by rolling hills, ancient gum trees, and neighbouring farms.
Yoga: We provide two premium yoga mats for your use—we highly recommend rolling them out on the deck for a sunrise stretch overlooking the valley.
Picnic Essentials: You will also find a heavy-duty waterproof picnic rug in the villa. Please feel free to take this down to the flower fields or a quiet spot on the hill to enjoy a sunset drink (please just remember to bring it back inside before the dew settles!).

Villa Minto is located on a working flower farm. During the day, you may see our team tending to the fields or setting up for farm activities in the distance. The Villa itself is completely private.
