« After I booked the room, I rang twice to check that the room was on the ground floor & both times not answered, so I left a written message with the booking & got no reply…….not a good start! On entering the room it looked very tired, badly needs renovating. No exhaust fan in the bathroom, the tap in the hand basin was so loose it nearly fell off when I turned it on. « Ramond responded quickly to our phone call so that we could register straight away. We did arrive a bit earlier than we had advised. It would be a good idea to provide a night light - I always carry one and it proved very useful as there are no windows and it got VERY dark when we turned all the lights off. The kitchen was great and the gas oven worked well. However, it is a bit under equipped for self-catering and we had to improvise. (Roasting pan instead of baking tray ...). The suite that...
