« Loved the place. We have three little kids and it was perfect for them. It's about 15 minutes into town and within 30 minutes to an hour of numerous trails, waterfalls, parks, activities, Tweetsie, etc. Very quiet and secluded with a nice mountain view. Check in was easy and the price is very fair. »

« Beautiful home located within the majestic Blue Ridge Mountain Club. This home is fully stocked with everything. Short walk to the new pickleball courts. We grilled steaks and ate dinner on the large rear deck with a breathtaking view of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Our host was great to work with. We will be returning in the fall. »

« Definitely a place to stay for the outdoor lovers! My 3 year old loved exploring the creek. We found so many insects and critters to looks at. The house is a little dated but met all our needs and aligned to our expectations and the photos. Really great outdoor entertaining area that I wish we could have used more! »

« We had a great time socializing by the incredible babbling creek. Lots of space and nice property. The only thing is the wood rockers in the gazebo smelled really bad from mold and mildew. We moved them out of the gazebo. »

« We were looking for a place to stay in the Ashe County area with three of our grandchildren. This house was perfect for our needs. There were sufficient bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone. « The home had everything we needed and far more, fully stocked kitchen, hot tub, a game room with a foosball table, pinball machine and a full size arcade game loaded with tons of options, plus a cache of board games. The interior is tall ceilings, a full wall of windows, beautiful pine walls and ceilings, comfortable furniture, large smart TV in each bedroom, living room, and game room. It is very private, has a creek right beside the house. We loved it and hope to return soon »

« The house was absolutely beautiful. Didn’t get to enjoy outdoor area. However the bumper pool took me back to my childhood. The road in was being paved so that was very bumpy. Due to all the rain it was super muddy. Other than this thank you for a clean, safe, worry free place to stay. Would definitely book again. »

« You can definitely feel the love that went into this space. Lisa and Stephen built an amazing treehouse, and the whole property is very special. It's very unique and well crafted, with a lovely view of the mountains through the trees. It's rustic yet also very comfortable and cozy. The clawfoot tub and fire stove make it especially relaxing. »

« The property was lovely in its rustic style. Little issues than can just happen through usage. It’s very roomy. I had everything I needed. Good WiFi. Good streaming ability on the television. I would definitely use it again. The AC worked well. Nice appliances. The only thing I would change is taking a nightlight for the middle of the night bathroom visits. »

A wonderful discovery
"This is one of the most charming inns! Yes, it's a bit old and the room a little small, but it's clean and super bright. The bed was incredibly comfortable and we slept like babies being able to open the windows instead of having to endure the noise of the air conditioner like in all places. The front desk staff was very nice and called within a few hours of our arrival to make sure we liked our room and were comfortable. We will absolutely return here! We also fell in love with this charming town, which we didn't know at all! It's pleasant to walk around and there are many restaurants and small shops. We were on our motorcycles and the hotel was within walking distance of everything. We highly recommend it to anyone!"
