Elysium Cottage - A Cosy Retreat with Water Views

Elysium Cottage is new 2 Bedroom cottage on a 65 acre cattle property in Fitzroy Falls. The property overlooks the beautiful Fitzroy Falls Reservoir and is situated in a natural bushland setting and wildlife corridor. There are 2 bedrooms - 1 Queen Bed and the other is a Twin Room. The Cottage has an open-plan Living, Kitchen & Dining Area with wood fire heater. The bathroom is compact, sleek & modern. The cottage also has a verandah as well as private courtyard with bbq facilities. All the living & outdoor areas have views of the lake. Stylishly presented throughout with all the modern conveniences that you would expect for a country getaway. Although the Cottage is positioned 20 metres from the main house, your privacy is assured. Fitzroy Falls is only 15 minutes away from the main town centres of Moss Vale, Robertson & Bowral where you'll find plenty of cafes, pubs & boutique shops. The Morton National Park & the Falls themselves are a just a 5 minute drive from here.

An idyllic weekend get-away for Father's Day weekend! Elysium Cottage is charming, peaceful and our hosts Noelaine and Allan made our stay very special with thoughtful little touches like providing breakfast supplies, a bowl of Lindt balls and the opportunity to feed their cows. Perfectly located for easy access to Fitzroy Falls and an easy drive to nearby Bowral or Robertson, this is the perfect spot to explore the Southern Highlands. It's just a pity that the property is now for sale.

Absolutely fantastic stay at Elysium! Noelaine was so helpful in providing arrival information and welcoming us when we arrived. Getting to feed the cows was a highlight! The cottage is well appointed, with all the things you need for a comfy stay. Kitchen was well stocked with all the equipment and tools you need to make a meal if you choose which was a huge plus, as our plan was to stay in both nights to enjoy the peacefulness of the region. Would highly recommend a stay at Elysium!

We had a lovely stay at this cottage, very warm, cosy, new and super clean. Sitting on the verandah in the crisp fresh air with a cup of tea and watching the nature around was a highlight for me. Noelaine is a great host, with good communication and the supply of essential food items and eggs, bacon & bread was very much appreciated. Would stay again.

The cottage was beatiful and clean. It had everything we needed with a beatiful view, fireplace and easy breakfast. Directions made it easy to find and it was a short trip to bowral. We will definitely be back.

Elysium - A hidden gem

It’s a lovely little cottage that had everything we needed. Loved the peace and tranquility. The host was lovely. Loved the complimentary bf items. Overall a great place. Cannot recommend enough to anyone who want to be away from your busy city life. The only suggestion I have is to have some blinds or shade over the main glass door. So we can close if we want for privacy. And open for a great view when we want.

Wonderful stay

My wife and I plus 6-year-old stayed at Elysium for three nights. To summarise 10/10… Property is new, fresh and incredibly clean. There is a great aspect over the fields towards the reservoir. Noelaine and Allan are great hosts. Highly recommend staying at the property and would be our first choice for the next trip.

Country charm and comfort

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend away at this cosy and charming new cottage with views of the reservoir. Upon arrival we were greeted by a beautiful heard of cows and calves which our children were utterly enamoured by. We met our hosts who were very friendly and accommodating. They provided some breakfast essentials which we really appreciated and even let us feed the cows one afternoon! The cottage itself was everything you could want in a countryside getaway. Modern with all the essential amenities, but warm and charming. We especially loved the fireplace. Thanks for having us Noelaine and Alan. We will be back.
