« What an amazing place, the location was amazing as well. We had the best night away and are already looking at coming back next year for longer as 1 night was just now enough time. The cottage was clean, everything was provided for the hot tub which was lovely, warm and private. Thank you so much. Staff were so welcoming and very nice as well. We loved every part of the cottage it was stunning. »

« We had a wonderful stay at Kitty’s cottage. The cottage is so homely and feels really welcoming. It’s lovely and warm, even when the weather outside was freezing. It was super clean and very well equipped. We loved walking on the beach, which is only moments away, with such beautiful views. Driving over Galloway forest park, we stopped to feed the goats and deer, which was wonderful. You need to take your own carrots or other fruit / veg to feed them. Galloway forest is also a dark skies...

« Fantastic family break on a working farm. Mr King and his family are lovely warm hosts making sure you have everything you need and are enjoying your stay. Cute quirky cabin and annexe giving plenty space for a large group and the hot tub area an added treat for us all. Had great fun feeding Megan and Moonshine the horses !! »

« The cottage itself was lovely. A really nice chilled week, however the property just required a bit of TLC, it is just looking a bit tired and rough in some areas and the cleanliness was average to say the least. Some plates had been put away dirty and there was cobwebs in several of the rooms. The location was pretty good and it was only 30 minutes in to Glasgow and Ayr is nearby. Overall I would give a 7/10. »

« Caravan is lovely and comfortable, though can be noisy in stormy weather, though otherwise it's a quiet location. Drive is quite steep for parking. Fantastic views over Loch Long. Access drive is a single road, is quite steep in places and it can be tricky to find the caravan. »
