« The entire state was amazing and everything was literally perfect. However, the home had some areas where things were either broken or a little dirty in spots. Overall though, the entire place was huge! Definitely bigger than the online listing. The backyard was beautiful. The photos on the listing are also a little old because the home had a lot of updates and modifications. Like I said, though it just could’ve been cleaned a bit better and fixed in some areas so that people wouldn’t be afraid...

« We got to the house and it was a lovely house, in a great location. The garbage outside had meat and other garbage not in bags. The storm door was broken which we fixed ourselves, the floor was full of sand, the air conditioner in the kitchen didnt blow cold air and the fan in the ktchen didnt work either, the remote was nowhere to be found. I think some of our money should be refunded. »

« This was our second stay at this charming cottage, perfect mix of colonial feel and modern amenities. Plenty of space for us and our dog. Everything we needed was included. Location is close to village and beach. »

« Perfect for our needs. Nice big open kitchen living room area was great for our family. We were an older group that can’t get together that often and this was really a common area that was good for all of us to connect. Peaceful morning overlooking the river enjoying our coffee. Would definitely rent again. Host answered all questions in a timely manner. »

« Our family of 7 adults Visited Long Island for a family wedding. This VRBO was equipped with everything we needed, beds were comfortable, and it was exceptionally clean with lovely decor. Owner Kerry responded very quickly to inquiries. Location was ideal for travel between family events in Islip and at the nearby Three Village Inn in Stony Brook. It was a short drive to the Stony Brook hotel where other family members were staying. Highly recommend this VRBO! »

« We had a great visit with lots of space to hang out, play games, watch TV and cook. The house is well-equipped with kitchen items, towels, bathroom items etc. Location is close to beach, LIRR and tons of restaurants & shopping. Super convenient! We enjoyed our stay and would consider renting again, esp in summer months. »

« The house was able to comfortably accommodate my large group of family and friends. We all loved the diner for breakfasts and eating together, and the game room was a huge hit! Host was very responsive - had some difficulty locating the garbage area but was able to find it! All the games were on and accessible, and the cable tv was great. The pool is nice and large, though the weather wasn’t that great during my visit (a bit chilly). Loved the pickleball court. Only small downside was cellular...

« Was super surprised just how nice this house was. It was tastefully decorated with many antiques and live plants which gave it a very homey feel. The whole house has been updated and the kitchen was generously furnished. The roku TV offered our favorite channels. Possibly, the only negative is it's location is in the middle of nowhere on a 2-lane dirt road. But, even that had positives. The countryside was beautiful and there was a restuarant/green house/party store just a mile down the road....
