« The owners greeted me on arrival at this lovely guesthouse and showed me to my room. The bed was very comfortable. It is an old building so quirky room sizes but beautifully renovated and maintained. Good shower clean bathroom. Great home cooked breakfast. I would definitely stay again »

« Sadly, this was a bad experience. I booked via Expedia where the hotel was advertising a Michelin trained chef and a restaurant. I travelled solo 145 miles for a two night break purely because of this. Upon arrival, I was disappointed to learn the restaurant closed last year. I expressed this disappointment in very civil tones, explaining this was the only reason for my visit. I asked the owner Stacie if I could therefore cancel my second night and obtain a partial refund for it. Stacie agreed...

« Property was perfectly situated within Filey, 5-10 minutes walk into the centre plus a Tesco superstore a few minutes walk away.
On street parking directly outside property and there was a pleasant welcome pack on arrival. »

« Dudley's Retreat is a wonderful apartment on The Bay. We have stayed in a number of properties there and this is by far our favourite. Check in and pre-information was clear and concise. « The apartment was really lovely
Very comfortable
Had all the amenities we needed.
In a very good location
Very clean and if a good standard.
Except the main bling in the bedroom opened up but we could not shut it.
It was also really dirty and full of dust.
The blind in the kitchen was also really dirty, covered in grease and dust too.
