« Walking into this cottage was like I had been there before. The pictures are so accurate. Everything was just great. We had a fabulous time even though I didn’t get a chance to use the kayak. We did check out the historic Fayette Village state park. Also went to see the Big Spring Indian Lake. We would love to come back here again, in fact, I could just move in. The only thing was the pots and pans were not the best. Thanks for everything. Great place! »

« This was such a nice place to stay. The house is very nice, it was really well furnished and supplied. The place was super clean and the host was super nice! Very close to pictured rock and Canada 😊 Very comfortable beds and furnishings. The patio was wonderful as was hot tub. Highly recommend! »

« Lovely place to stay. The garage space was great to hang out in. We spent most of our time there! Sunsets were fun to watch down at the marina right down the street! Wish it was more of a sandy waterfront but we made it work but still great to be right on the water. Overall great stay and the host was great to work with. »

« i cannot say enough great things about this place! the hosts are attentive and friendly, and their property is a little slice of heaven away from city life. amazing amenities like a sauna, row boat for the lake, and plenty of property to roam and explore. peaceful, quiet, and beautiful. i cannot recommend it enough! »

« Property was excellent in so many ways: privacy, welcome gift basket, clean and very organized, comfortable and family centered decoration, abundant wildlife viewing, well maintained beach and footpath. The property clearly shows the personality and thoughtful intent of the owners. Our family of 4 adults, 2 children (5 and 2) would not hesitate to stay here again, or to highly recommend it. »

« We were a group of 8 enjoying our 5th year of orving in northern Michigan . Your log cabin was almost perfect for our accommodations . The beds , sheets , blankets even throw blankets on the couch made it cozy .My husband hated that he had to wait sooo long for the coffee to finish brewing .(half hour ) Also we are seniors who would have loved “grab bars” in the 2showers on first floor . Our safety in showers is a very big concern for seniors or really for anybody .Also the main bedroom bathroom...

« I love staying at the Hillcrest Inn. I have stayed here becore and it's truly a hidden gem. The rooms are very clean and modern with a cabin outdoors vibe. The bathrooms are very spacious and has all moden amenities. I love the old school motel physical key on the keychain as well. If you are passing throthe area and need a safe quiet area for a very affordable rate, the Hillcrest Inn is the place to stay. »
