From the moment you step inside, Porthva feels bright, spacious and connected to its surroundings. Contemporary interiors, natural light and ever-changing views across Falmouth Harbour create a calm and welcoming home for enjoying the Cornish coast.

Ground Floor
The open-plan kitchen, dining and living space is made for spending time together. The indoor dining table seats six, and new terrace furniture means everyone can sit outside together too. Prepare breakfast, gather for a meal or relax on the sofa in front of the fire, with the harbour as your backdrop throughout the day.

The fully equipped kitchen includes:

– Instant hot water tap
– Induction hob
– Oven
– Large fridge
– Dishwasher

Bifold doors open onto the terrace, making it easy to move between indoors and out. Enjoy breakfast in the morning sunshine, dine alfresco with friends and family, or settle in with a glass of wine as the boats drift across the water.
A separate WC is also located on this floor.

Terrace
Step outside onto the main terrace and enjoy one of Porthva’s most memorable features. With harbour views stretching across the Carrick Roads, it’s the perfect place for breakfast in the morning sunshine, an alfresco meal or a quiet glass of wine as the boats drift by.

First Floor
The spacious super king master bedroom enjoys uninterrupted harbour views and its own private terrace, making it the perfect spot for a quiet morning coffee while watching the harbour come to life.

A spacious twin bedroom and family bathroom complete this floor.

Hidden away on the landing is a separate washing machine, separate tumble dryer, iron and ironing board, making longer stays easy and convenient.

Second Floor
The top-floor suite offers a peaceful retreat beneath the eaves, with a super king size bed, ensuite shower room and a beautiful freestanding bath within the bedroom.

Velux windows on both sides fill the room with natural light, while one side offers lovely views across Falmouth Harbour. Clothes storage and hanging space are also provided.


Other things to note

Travelling Together?
Porthva is one of two beautifully designed properties at Vernon Place. If you’re travelling with a larger group, its neighbouring property, Morva, may also be available.
As the properties are listed separately, they cannot be booked together online. Please contact us if you’d like to enquire about availability for both.

Parking
Falmouth is a historic coastal town, and many of its charming streets were designed centuries before the arrival of the motor car. As a result, Porthva has no designated parking.

Free on-street parking is available nearby on a first-come, first-served basis, with several public car parks also within easy walking distance. You’re welcome to stop outside the property to unload your luggage before finding a parking space.

Dogs
One dog is welcome per stay. Dogs must stay on the ground floor and are not permitted upstairs.

Perfectly positioned just a five-minute walk from the heart of Falmouth, Porthva lets you leave the car behind and enjoy one of Cornwall’s most vibrant coastal towns on foot.
