The space
As you enter Safe Harbour you are greeted by a light filled hallway, the newly fitted kitchen is to the right containing an oven & hob, fridgefreezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine and all the cooking pots, pans and utensils you should need. Plenty of cutlery, crockery and glassware for 6 is provided as well as kitchen basics and all cleaning products. You will find milk in the fridge, coffee (instant & Nespresso pods), tea, sugar and biscuits on arrival.
The large lounge/diner is at the back of the house overlooking the garden with patio doors. You will find sofas, chairs and footstools along with a large dining table all seating 6.
A 46” Sony Smart TV, Bluetooth sound system and maps, books, leaflets and games are all provided.
In the peaceful garden you will find a table and seating for 6 surrounded by a fruitful vine, lemon, orange and bay trees which along with honeysuckle make the summer evenings smell delicious!
The integral garage has a bike rack for 5 and plenty of space for paddle boards, kitesurfing gear etc. The garage is also home to Bobbi the Beach Buggy an off-road trolley loaded with beach goodies to help make a brilliant day on the beach.
A downstairs cloakroom and 2 full bathrooms upstairs mean no one has to queue in the mornings.
The en-suite Master bedroom has a king sized bed, 2 double wardrobes, drawers and a desk and chair.
The twin bedroom contains 2 full size single beds, wardrobe and drawers.
The third bedroom contains a double bed and wardrobe.
Guest access
There is parking for 1 car on the driveway in front of the blue garage door plus there is a public car park a 2 minute walk away.
The train station is an 8 minute walk and there is a bus stop 2 minutes away.
Safe Harbour is on the Route 2 cycleway which runs from Exmouth around the estuary to Dawlish Warren - 16 miles each way nearly all of which is off road.
From April a ferry runs from the Marina to Starcross and there are water taxis available to Dawlish & the River Exe Cafe.
