About the property
Charming in every way, this cosy cottage is tucked away along a quiet road in the vibrant estuary town of Topsham. If you're looking for a peaceful place to call ‘home', yet be within walking distance of exciting independent pubs, award-winning restaurants, boutiques and artisan shops where you can pick up great cheeses and wines to enjoy in the cottage's cute courtyard garden, this bijoux cottage won't disappoint. Picturesque hikes and bike rides beside the River Exe begin just a few minutes' away, while the nearby train station makes it easy to visit Exmouth's sandy beaches and the cathedral city of Exeter.
This cosy cottage is beautifully styled and has a neutral colour palette that feels very calming.
On the ground floor, the open-plan living area is light and airy. Enjoy everything from breakfast to dinner around the dining table which is next to the window. In the evenings, sink into the sofa to watch a film on the Smart TV and if it's little bit chilly, the wood burner will soon make things toasty.
At the rear of the cottage is the well-equipped kitchen that has everything you could need to whip up dinner made from fresh, local ingredients. You'll find an electric oven and hob, a fridge, a freezer, a microwave and a good selection of crockery and utensils, plus a dishwasher and a washing machine.
Off the kitchen is a cute, enclosed courtyard patio that is furnished with a table and chairs, ideal for sipping a morning coffee or savouring lunch alfresco.
Upstairs, on the first floor, there is a bedroom with a king-size bed, plus the bathroom which has a bath with a shower over, a WC and a sink.
Another set of stairs leads to the second floor and the second bedroom which also has a king-size bed, but this is zip and link so it can be set up as two singles if you prefer (on request).
There is a key safe where you can access the key to the property for a self-check-in.
If you'd like to offset the carbon emissions from your trip, get in touch and we can arrange this for a small fee.
