An adults only retreat, The Sorting Shed is a commanding two storey concrete structure with a luxurious interior designed to reflect the warehouse space where tobacco was sorted.
The name is inspired by the process where dried tobacco leaves were sorted in a shed adjoining the tobacco kiln.
Thoughtfully appointed amenities that include two wood burning fires, a separate den and an in-house sauna make The Sorting Shed a perfect adult retreat.
The Sorting Shed features a grand living space upstairs with floor to ceiling doors and windows providing close up views of Mt Buffalo, the farm and property vineyard. It has two balconies – each with their own stunning views – and delightful protected outdoor dining spaces.
Adjoining the living space is a modern, luxuriously equipped kitchen with ILVE appliances. Perfect for cooking with local produce while keeping an eye on the spectacular scenery and bulls in the paddock below.

A special feature of The Sorting Shed is the sauna located downstairs. Its a great way to recharge after skiing and bike riding, or just relax and unwind from the everyday.
Polished concrete floors are luxuriously cool under your feet on summer days, and when the cold arrives underfloor heating will keep your toes toasty.

Fully equipped kitchen with induction cooktop & added luxury of a dishwasher.

LOUNGEROOM & ENTERTAINMENT
One living area upstairs with spectacular views, the main living area downstairs apart of the open plan kitchen and dining area. Two TV’s, DVD and Sonos player, WIFI available.

HEATING & COOLING
Reverse cycle air conditioning, floor heating, plus the added ambiance of a wood in BOTH living areas.

PET POLICY
All of the Kilnhouse properties are strictly no pets. These luxury accommodation venues are located on a cattle farm therefore do not permit outside pets.
