BEWARE! DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY. Booked the stay 6 months ahead of time, even got confirmation email a few days before we were to check in, arrived to property and it is completely deserted. Not a single light on on the entire property. Had to stay across the street. Property is completely abandoned. Nice lady at hotel across the street texted a (former) employee and she said property sold and is obviously vacant. Expedia needs to take it down immediately.
The hotel is clean, friendly staff, Iâve been staying here several years. The office opened late today so I had to go back 15 minutes later for my coffee but this is the first time Iâve had that problem. Just know that breakfast is very limited but fine for me as Iâm not a big breakfast eater. They have real coffee creamer which is a must for me. Iâll stay again.
Unfortunately the heat did not work in our room and would only blow out cold air. Also, the room did not have a microwave or trash can. The room was clean and the lady who checked us in was very nice.
It wasnât the worst experience ever. But, probably wouldnât stay again, check-in was great. Front desk girl was nice. Room was decent. Run down, but thatâs typical in Eureka Springs so we expected it. The main thing we didnt like was the noise. Itâs right at a main intersection and you can very loudly hear big trucks and just general noise. Very thankful we had considerate neighbors because you can definitely hear everything! Very limited parking. The outside lights are so bright and are right outside the window so waking up at night feels like itâs the middle of the day outside. Housekeeping only comes if you hang the tag on your door before noon, which we did but they only came one of the 3 days we were there, so no clean towels or re-stocked coffee for us. If youâre looking for just an absolute basic place to sleep while in Eureka Springs, and youâre a hard sleeper, then this would be a good place to stay. Didnât hate it but probably wouldnât choose again.
