    The Space:

    Conveniently located in the heart of Eureka and just a short drive from the ocean, this second-floor apartment is a must-see! This home away from home is located above The Eureka Theater and is within a short walking distance of endless dining options, convenience stores, eateries, coffee shops, and supermarkets. Nearby attractions include the Sequoia Zoo and its popular Redwood Sky Walk, Morris Graves Museum for art and music, Sequoia Park, Cocina Mariposa, Carson Mansion, and Table Bluff Lighthouse. Enjoy Madaket boat tours of Humboldt Bay during the summer months, Friday Night Markets from June through October, and Arts Alive on the first Saturday of the month.

Amazing piece of history!

Absolutely loved the property. Not much to do in the area, but we stayed there so we could drive around to the different parks and it was good for that.

Great retro stay!

Very cool place, clean, has all the kitchen things we wanted. Really a cool place to stay.One bed mattress was a bit squeaky and could be replaced.Towels could be more absorbent.

Awesome Apartment!!

What an awesome place to stay! The apartment is very spacious and unique. It has every amenity you could ever need and the decor is outstanding. My son's and I stayed two nights and wished we could have extended our stay just to spend more time at the apartment!

Cool place to stay!!

So spacious, and we love the art deco period feel to the place. Love the grand piano, but I didn’t get around to playing it much. So many places to hang out!

Within 2 hours north and south of all Redwood parks and beaches. The beds and wifi router could use an upgrade.

Convenient location in historic setting

Near old town Eureka, walking distance to shops and dinging. Very cute art deco apartment. Only issue is parking can be an issue, may have to park a block or two away if close by eateries are full.

Unique and Comfortable

It was really cool to stay above the Eureka Theater - a landmark of the city! The art deco styling added to a pleasantly unusual experience (although my kids found the old movie posters a bit creepy). It’s a really spacious apartment with a lot of different living spaces to enjoy, and conveniently located. We’d try to book it again if we return to Eureka!

Fabulous

What a property! So unique and interesting. Very well maintained and stocked. We walked to restaurants and just enjoyed hanging out in the wonderful space. If we come back to Eureka, we are looking at this first! Highly recommend.

Great apartment, great location

The apartment could not have had a better location. We enjoyed the little balcony when the sun was out. The water pressure in the shower was phenomenal. The kitchen is small but well appointed. We had a couple of minor issues that were quickly resolved by a very responsive property manager. Highly recommended!

At Home in Eureka Theater

The apartment was more than we could have expected. From the vintage art deco furnishings to the appliances, everything was beautiful. We enjoyed spending time on the balcony and in the sunroom. Everything we needed was readily available including a full sized stacked washer and dryer. The apartment is huge and could comfortably accommodate a family of 6 or more. We would love to stay again.

Fantastic spot!

The moment we walked in we were thrilled. The place is beautifully restored and very comfortable. We had everything we needed, and were very grateful for the washer and dryer. The location is within walking distance is dozens of great places to eat, including pizza right next door. Easy to get to the grocery store as well if you decide to cook in the well equipped kitchen. The retro decor is very well done and made me curious about the history of the place. I highly recommend this spot and would be thrilled to come back!

Stay here!

The theater apartment was perfect! The pictures do not do justice to how spacious the living area is. The bedrooms are large, the beds are comfortable, and the water pressure in the showers are amazing! It’s walking distance to everything you need/want downtown. The vacasa staff were tremendous texting us our information ahead of time and checking in on our needs. We had 5 adults and a baby, and had more space than we needed! (As an aside, it was very baby safe because there are doors to all the spaces!)

Could not be happier!!

This place is fabulous! Our family really liked everything about the apartment. Great place to spend some family time unwinding. The price was right. Was really nice to wash a load of clothes to help us get through our vacation conveniently. We brought breakfast food and had a family meal around the dining room table. Was so clean and neat. We definitely will come back when and if we come to Eureka. Our kids are old enough to behave so I’m not sure about parents that can’t control little pple as some of the things look fragile, but we loved it.
