The view! This house is all about the view, overlooking the ocean, listening to the sounds and enjoying being outside. The house was perfect for 2, great shower, bed was comfortable. Location was great to explore the south end of Redwoods NP.

THE VIEW

Perfect spot by the sea

It looks like a garage from the road, but inside it’s a lovely little house - comfortable, convenient, clean. But the view! Incredible. The kitchen is well equipped and you can gaze at the ocean while you cook.

Magnificent property. Beautiful views and incredibly comfortable accommodations. Just perfect for our five night stay. Loved the proximity to the Redwoods. The home is beautifully furnished. Can’t say enough about the gorgeous home away from home.

My husband and I loved our stay in the Garage House! It truly is the best VRBO we have ever stayed at. The view is absolutely incredible, the house is very well-stocked and comfortable, and the hot tub was wonderful to use at the end of the day. Trinidad is just a short drive away for meals out and grocery runs. We will definitely return to this VRBO rental!

Great place with gorgeous ocean views!

The place was very nice, clean, and the yard and views of the ocean were great. The litlle town of Trinidad is so pretty and had a couple of great restaurants that we really enjoyed.

Excellent stay

Everything about this property was perfect. The attention to detail was phenomenal. We wanted for nothing. If we thought we needed something it was there for our convenience. A little piece of paradise

We cannot say enough great things about our stay at the Garage House! Originally intended only as the home base for our trip to the Redwood National Forest, the Garage House quickly became a main highlight of our trip. The view of the ocean, waking up to the sounds of the waves, and sitting in the hot tub after a long day of hiking were moments that we deeply treasured. The cherry on top, was the location. The town of Trinidad and its local businesses like the Beachcomber, Kayak Trinidad, and the Trinidad Bay Gallery and Eatery were true gems. If we ever have the chance, we would love to stay here again.

Amazing View, Cute House

The view of the ocean is picturesque. The outdoor space is lovely and had a nice little hot tub. The place was clean and convenient to Trinidad and not too far from Redwood.

Beautiful View

So serene. Just a couple of nit picks: We wish there was an outside table, kleenex in the bathroom, and window treatments in the bedroom that blocked the morning sun a little better. And not a criticism, just an FYI: the hot tub is constantly on....heating or filtering, we don't know what.

Beautiful views!

We loved staying at this beautiful home. You can’t beat the views! It was a perfect location for us to come back to after a day of exploring tide pools or hiking in the redwoods to soak in the hot tub and listen to the waves below us. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Comfortable Relaxing .. Perfect for 2!

We love everything about this property! It's clean with gorgeous views and a comfy bed. We appreciate the walk-in shower and couldn't have been more comfortable than we were. The kitchen was well stocked as we, mostly, cooked in! This host is diligent and truly cares about his guests... we hope to visit again soon!

Peace at the coast

Overall really nice. But something needs to be done with the garbage cans. On arrival the garbage cans were visited by raccoons and they spread garbage all over the back yard and front yard. Of course we cleaned it up. Tightly closed the lids and again the same trash spread all over. I closed lids with bungee cords that worked one day. Then the last night it was bad. A dog got back there and helped spread the refuse. One more cleanup before we left. New strategy needed.

Best sunsets!

This was our fourth year staying at Bill's Garage House, and we once again had a lovely time! It's comfortable, convenient to many, many hikes, and the views overlooking the ocean are just jaw-dropping! The hot tub is also a highlight for us. Bill has an apple tree that had an abundance of apples this year, and encouraged us to take some, so we made an apple pie for Thanksgiving! Thanks Bill!
