Perfect long weekend

The kids loved the freedom of running out the front door to play. The house was just as described and pictured. We had two families staying here with 5 kids, and never felt cramped. We would definitely stay here again, but we also love trying out different houses around Carlton Landing. This was our favorite location by far.

Amazing!

We have stayed at Carlton Landing before - it has quickly become one of our favorite family + friends getaway. This house is beautiful and worked great for two families + kids. Location at firefly park is a great bonus and we loved the front patio. Highly recommend!

Pictures does not do this place justice. Its well decorated and it looks real nice. It has all we needed as a family. We may stay there again when we get the opportunity!

The community is very quaint and everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The house had everything we needed to cook dinner and entertain ourselves on one day of our stay that was rainy and cold. We cannot wait to come back during the summer and explore more of the community and hope Bed, White and Blue will be available again!

Great experience with this property! The kids absolutely loved the bunk bed room. They had their own space upstairs when they weren’t running the neighborhood with new friends. Staff communicated easily and they even tracked down some very special lost and found items after our departure. Very thankful! We will book again.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I want to start by saying this is not my first time to Carlton landing. I’ve even stayed in this same home before and it was great. Unfortunately, this time we had several issues. The main issue was my daughter was woken up at 3:00am (on her BIRTHDAY!) to a weird sound. The sound was a major leak coming out of the ceiling right above her bed. We did our best to clean it up and put a pot under it to catch the water, by early morning it was pouring out streadily. I messaged LakeStay immediately at 3am. They sent someone in the morning but we needed to leave for a boat rental because again, it was my daughter’s 11th birthday. It is not the rental company’s fault that this happened along with several other issues however, the way it was handled was not the most professional in my opinion. I am not normally come to complain or even write a negative review. The emails and calls that went back and forth about our experience were mostly implying that we did something wrong. Like having the ac set too low. It was on 68. It wasn’t even intentional but it was also SO hot. The reason for the leak was a clogged line, which is more of a lack of maintenance issue than the 68 being set too low. We also had an issue with the oven not working on our last morning. LakeStay was quick to respond to emails and calls however, I felt like there was an attitude about it all. I understand it’s hard to make everyone happy, we are owners of our own vrbo and know that’s difficult sometimes. However, if I had someone have a completely disrupted trip several times but especially in the middle of the night I would have refunded them at least that 1 night. LakeStay told me they asked the owners if they would be willing to do that and I haven’t heard back since. I feel like given the experience there should be more communication. LakeStay might not be able to control if an owner is willing to refund something but there should be somethi

We have stayed in rental homes through LakeStay 2 times now and have been very impressed and very happy with our experience! We will only book through LakeStay when coming to Carlton’s Landing!

Our Best VRBO Experience Ever!

This property looked great in the pictures on VRBO.com and was even more adorable in person! This home feels like it is decorated for their family to enjoy, not just some property they had furnished to make money on. The hosts were welcoming and gracious - providing lots of spices, coffee pods, plenty of GOOD cookware, several sets of dishes and tableware, plenty of cleaning supplies, and a more than adequate starting supply of paper goods (TP and PT). The home was VERY CLEAN and well-maintained. There were lots of clean towels and clean linens. The mattresses and pillows were very clean, and the generous-sized king mattress felt heavenly. The mattresses were a much nicer quality than other VRBO’s (and hotels) that we’ve stayed at. This hidden gem of a community was easily accessible, quaint, beautiful, quiet (in spite of new construction), and secluded. There were nice amenities that were available to us as guests. We stayed on a Wednesday – Friday and unfortunately, the on-site food trucks were not open, but we found a couple of great restaurants within a 10-minute drive, as well as a clean, well-stocked grocery store for breakfast necessities. We thoroughly enjoyed the Bocce Ball courts and the Tower pool. The neighbors we encountered were friendly. The spacious home provided lots of room to spread out and relax, offering multiple sleeping arrangements and TV's all over the place. The screened-in front porch swing was huge, sturdy, and comfortable. The outdoor lighting and sitting area created a relaxing and romantic ambience. We felt like the owners had invited us into their private retreat! Thank you for sharing your beautiful Bed, White and Blue with our family. Highly recommend!
