« We had a great visit to the farmhouse. The house is very clean and has a great layout for a larger family with kids. Plenty of space to be together and not feel cramped. Our hosts were responsive and helpful. We loved being outside, the yard is large with outdoor games for fun. We stargazed at night and ate all our meals on the deck. The trailheads are down the road. We really enjoyed exploring Nicholson Hollow with our kids. We are looking forward to coming again! »

« We enjoyed our stay at this property and it was clean, well equipped with all the modern conveniences, and provided a nice alternative to a hotel. It was a good fit for us with our small dog and was a short drive to the places we wanted to visit. We were there for a long weekend and it is along a busy street so the only drawback was the traffic noise during the day. »

Price was very affordable compared to the nicer hotels in town who were charging $200 to $300 a night. Kind of out in the country but its easy to get to and from town, pretty straight stretch. I was only there in the evenings and everything was very quiet and peaceful. »

« Great location to explore the Shenandoah National Forest and Shenandoah Valley for spring break. The size of the house was perfect for our two families. The kids loved their room with twin beds and many games and toys. There was a seat for the baby and a pack and play, as well.Everyone enjoyed having breakfast on the back deck. The kitchen had all the utensils we needed to cook and enjoy meals but we were close enough to Luray to go out for any meals we wanted. It was also nice having toiletries...

« Nature lovers will love the Amazing property views and abundant opportunities to see wildlife. Deer, bears. Turkey were all seen while outside or viewed on the game cameras around the property from the comfort of relaxing inside and watching on the TV monitors. All aspects of our stay were above our expectations. Very clean, full kitchen with everything needed to cook inside or on grill while enjoying hot tub. « The home met all our family’s needs during a weekend stay for a party at nearby farm. The layout and outdoor spaces were a bonus. In fact, the view of Hawksbill Mountain from the porch while enjoying our morning coffee: priceless. And importantly easy access to Rt 29 and the town but yet secluded and bucolic. »
