The Lake Estes Mountain Retreat is a luxury 4-bedroom, 4 and ½ bath vacation home located at Lake Estes in Estes Park. This is the place to come and relax, commune with nature and spend time with family and friends. This is one of the few privately owned pieces of property that directly abuts the nearly 4-mile Lake Estes Trail that circles Lake Estes. Our property is over one and a half acres with incredible views of Longs Peak, Twin Sisters, the Continental Divide and a rear yard that gently slopes down to the lake. Our expansive windows and southern exposure over Lake Estes results in incredible light in the home where you can watch the sun rise and set and the wildlife that frequently graze in our yard. Deer, elk, owls and birds (other animals) regularly visit the lake and our property.

THE LAKE - Fishing, paddle boarding, kayaking and biking steps away

Lake Estes is located just east of downtown Estes Park and is approximately 185 acres. It is one of the few lakes in Estes Park Valley and Rocky Mountain National Park that allows recreational boating. Our home is just a 5-minute walk along the lake to Lake Estes Marina where you can rent kayaks, paddleboards or a pontoon boat. The lake is also excellent for fishing and is stocked by the Colorado Department of Wildlife with Rainbow Trout. Fishing is just a few steps away There is a paved walking path the completely surrounds the lake.

THE VIEW

The cabin is situated with incredible views of Lake Estes in addition to views of Long's Peak (14'000'+), Twin Sisters and the continental divide itself. The view of the lake with the backdrop of the mountains is truly stunning.

THE CABIN

We have spared no expense in creating a true luxury getaway. At its heart, our cabin is a hand-hewn log home providing a warm and relaxed atmosphere that has been completely remodeled and updated to provide a modern and luxurious feel. The main living area has an open design incredible views of the lake and mountains. There are double sliding doors that open to the top deck area that can be opened to give guests the feeling of being outdoors. It is a great place to relax and enjoy the modern gas fireplace. There is a professional kitchen with all the modern amenities. The cabin is also designed to have multiple spaces to relax and enjoy both inside and outside. In addition to the large deck overlooking the lake, the home has three outdoor sitting areas. The largest outdoor sitting area also overlooks the lake and has a gas firepit and is surrounded by large stone landscaping to provide a rustic but comfortable feel. Another of the outdoor sitting areas has a 7-person hot tub that can be enjoyed all four seasons.

The home has 4 separate bedrooms, each with king sized bed. There are 4 and ½ baths allowing for plenty of privacy. The bedrooms are all uniquely decorated with custom-built beds made from reclaimed lumber and additional furniture to allow guests to retreat to their private spaces if so desired. Baths all have modern designs with tile showers. The master bedroom also has double slider doors facing the lake and the master bath has a large rain shower.

The first floor also has a game area and separate television, which can be great for both kids and adults.

This cabin has central air conditioning with a separate unit in the master suite.

KITCHEN You will be cooking with easy. Bosch gas stove and electric oven, Bosch dishwasher and microwave oven, Stainless refrigerator with an extra on the lower level. coffee pot, toaster, crock pot, blender and a gas grill just steps away on the patio.

THE LOCATION

Our cabin is conveniently located in the Town of Estes Park on Lake Estes. There is a marina on the lake that rents paddle boards, fishing gear, bikes and boats. The paved Estes Trail makes walking around the lake and to the downtown area easy. We are also located a little over 5 miles from the Rocky Mountain National Park Beaver Creek entrance and a little over 6 miles to the Rocky Mountain National Park Fall River entrance, giving guest the convenience to choose different points of entry into the majestic and expansive national park.
