The Space:

Trout Haven is a beautiful cabin perched above Fightingtown Creek, home to award-winning fishing spots, & is one of the largest of the streams that hold both stocked & wild trout. Enjoy the fire pit, picnic table, & hammock right by the creek! Trout Haven is conveniently located 10 min to the TN/GA Border, & 15-30 min from all the exciting amenities of Blue Ridge, GA (Orchards, Downtown BR, Lake BR & Marina, Serenity Spa, Hiking Trails, grocery shopping, etc) & accommodates 8 guests.



This 3 bedroom cabin rental is perfect for large families and couple retreats! Bring your fishing gear for trout fishing or relax by the creek and fire pit. Enjoy the yard with gentle slopes and lots of space to run and play - a rare find in our mountain town! The fire pit is close to the creak which makes for the perfect evening outdoors, especially in the fall. Whether you're hanging out on the porches, playing in the yard, reading or fishing by the creek, cozying up next to the indoor fireplace, or enjoying the floor plan, the peace and serenity of the nature surrounding the cabin provides the perfect backdrop to your getaway in the mountains.



This 3 story cabin features a large living room on the main floor with a wood burning fireplace and Satellite TV, making meal times extra cozy. (Please note that fire wood is not provided but can be found at any convenience/grocery store in town.) The bedroom on this floor has a Queen bed with Satellite TV and deck access. The bathroom on this floor features a tub and walk in shower.



The dining room table seats 6 with 2 extra seats at the breakfast bar. The kitchen is fully equipped with granite countertops, dishes, casserole dishes, mixing bowls, cutting boards, mixing utensils, knife set, kettle, measuring utensils, veggie peeler, can opener, grater, wine opener, scoop, Tupperware, strainer, pots and pans, cast iron pan, baking sheets, muffin pan, pizza cutter, silverware, cleaning supplies, crockpot, pitcher, blender, wine cooler, toaster, and a Hamilton Beach coffee brew pot. There is a gas grill on the main level porch that uses propane tanks. These will be provided.



The loft features a bedroom with a Queen bed, satellite TV, private balcony overlooking the creek, and an attached bathroom with a tub shower.



The lower level has an entertainment area featuring a gas fireplace, pool table, and dart board. The bedroom has 2 queen beds in a bunk bed style. The bathroom features a tub shower. Enjoy the lower level porch with outdoor seating. Steps lead down to the fire pit, picnic table, hammock, and creek.



The serene nature setting and gorgeous creek make Trout Haven the perfect spot for your next vacation in the mountains of Blue Ridge Georgia!



Please note a fishing license is required if you will be fishing. Fightingtown creeks fishing guidelines include: catch and release mandatory, artificial lures only, single barbless hooks only. The creek has strong current and we would not recommend swimming in it.

The cabin and hot tub are professionally cleaned and disinfected in between every guest stay.

Minimum age to rent this cabin is 25. All guests that book this cabin will be required to sign a rental agreement pdf and provide proof of ID.

Guest Access:

Guests will have private access to the entire cabin and its outdoor spaces during their stay, including the hot tub, decks, fire pit, yard, and creekfront areas.



Any locked owner’s closets or storage areas are reserved for owner use and are not accessible to guests.



Parking is available on-site for registered guests.



The Neighborhood:

Trout Haven is tucked along beautiful Fightingtown Creek in the North Georgia mountains, offering a peaceful creekside setting surrounded by nature. Spend your mornings listening to the water, cast a line for trout, or simply relax and enjoy the quiet mountain surroundings.



Conveniently located between Blue Ridge and McCaysville, the cabin makes it easy to explore two of North Georgia’s favorite mountain towns. Downtown Blue Ridge offers locally owned restaurants, shops, breweries, galleries, and the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway, while nearby McCaysville and neighboring Copperhill, Tennessee, offer riverside dining, local shops, and the unique opportunity to stroll across the Georgia–Tennessee state line.



The surrounding area is also filled with outdoor adventures, including hiking, waterfalls, tubing, rafting, Lake Blue Ridge, wineries, orchards, and scenic mountain drives—giving you plenty to explore before returning to your peaceful retreat on Fightingtown Creek.



Getting Around:

Guests should plan to have their own vehicle during their stay. Uber, Lyft, and other rideshare services are very limited in the North Georgia mountains and should not be relied upon for transportation.



We recommend driving an AWD or 4WD vehicle when visiting Trout Haven, both to access the cabin and to explore some of the more adventurous mountain destinations in the surrounding area.



Mountain roads can be winding, steep, and affected by changing weather conditions. Please use extra caution when driving after dark or during periods of heavy rain, snow, or ice.



Other Things to Note:

IMPORTANT BOOKING INFORMATION:



• The primary renter must be at least 25 years old and must be present for the duration of the reservation.



• A signed rental agreement is required after booking.



• We recommend an AWD or 4WD vehicle for accessing the cabin and exploring the surrounding mountain area.



• Parking is limited. The driveway can accommodate a maximum of 3 small vehicles or 2 large trucks. Please plan accordingly.



• A valid Georgia fishing license is required to fish in Fightingtown Creek. Creek fishing regulations include mandatory catch and release, artificial lures only, and single barbless hooks only. Guests are responsible for reviewing and following all current fishing regulations.



• Fightingtown Creek can have a strong current, and swimming is not recommended.



• A small private path runs along the creek and is available for neighboring property owners to use. This path is not available for guest use, so you may occasionally see neighboring owners walking along the creek during your stay.



• No smoking, vaping, parties, or events are permitted.
