Not really a hotel , more like a nice air bnb when all said and done.
No welcome drink and itâs a hotel with a winery attached??? The women who âchecked us inâ was far from enthusiastic.
The gentleman who takes over sometimes was much much more welcoming.
Beautiful grounds and pool!
Magical property, and magical stay, on so many levels. Has my highest recommendation. Wish I could give 100 stars, like those I saw from our terrace at night.
We recently visited Valle to attend a wedding. Breathtaking view, amazing food. Very fresh and organic. Fernanda provided phenomenal customer service. Highly recommended renting a car. Ground transportation was previously arranged with Felix from San Diegoâs airport to Valle. He sent driver to TJ airport, when we called he just told us to cross the border. This was something new to us, since weâre from the East Coast. After an Uber and taxi we were finally able to cross. He also told us Uber drivers didnât go up to the hotel, because of the location and suggested we used his drivers. The fees were outrageous a Trip to La Cocina De Dona Estela was $180 USD. A 20 minute drive was $90 USD. The 2 times I requested an Uber we got lucky and were only charged a reasonable fee. Even the Uber drivers thought the amount they were quoting us was ridiculous. We felt like prisoners without a vehicle. Learned our lesson and will definitely rent a car next time.
This place is phenomenal. Very clean, well-appointed, centrally located and over-the-top in terms of service and amenities. The views are wonderful, the grounds are beautiful and the artwork is gorgeous. We canât wait to go back!
Everything about our stay was perfect! The property was gorgeous, peaceful/quiet, lovely/helpful staff, delicious breakfast included every day, as well as tea and treats in the afternoon.
Couldn't speak more highly of this very special property :)
The price for each night is worth the stay. Beautiful location that is a bit off the grid through dirt roads to arrive, but when you get there you are greeted by a security guard who checks you in. Then you arrive to this beautiful Villa with the famous restaurant Corazon De Tierra next to it. The amenities are wonderful. The check-in is followed with a short tour of the grounds. A bar with which you help yourself near the library/living room space downstairs shared with other folks staying in is followed by an honor system. Our rooms were great. The free breakfast was AMAZING.
The only critical thing I have of this place was that at night there seemed to be some noise like a car engine or kitchen stove being turned on for a few seconds. Whatever it was, you were able to hear it from the 2nd floor. Not sure if that happens each night, but it happened the first night I stayed.
Other than that, such a beautiful and peaceful stay!
