« We love Ocracoke, been on and off for many years! The Charter Room had all the amenities we needed. Golf cart rental through the place was also an easy process, and we enjoyed the usage. « This was our second stay at this peaceful, clean house and we have already booked another stay. It is on a quiet road with a roomy kitchen, comfortable dining area and family room. My favorite part is sitting in the adirondack chair with my feet in the Pamlico Sound drinking my morning coffee watching the pelicans fish. It is a favorite get-away home away from home that is an easy bike ride close to the fun shops and delicious seafood. »

« The cottage was perfect for how we wanted to spend our getaway. Dinners out, fishing, beach and long walks. I could make breakfast and put together lunch for our outings. It was wonderful having our dog and meeting Noodles….the owners dog who is absolutely darling. My husband and I will keep this location in our favorite file for the future!!! »

« This is the perfect cabin for a nature getaway! Spacious, comfortable, wonderful lake views, I was disappointed I had to leave. Jeff was quick to correspond and his home had everything needed to have a wonderful vacation. « If your goal is to get away from the beach crowds and experience nature, this well kept home on the bay is a wonderful spot to experience moments like beautiful sunsets and gazing at the Milky Way. With the entrance to Alligator River Wildlife Refuge just a few miles down the road, you'll have the chance to see some cool things. « For the price and location this place is great. We were able to bring our medium size dog and walked to almost everything we needed to. The house is a little worn down, a missing tile on the floor or doors not completely able to shut but can be easily over looked because of location and accommodations. The house is big with three different bedrooms and a big open floor plan, we could host family dinners if we needed. We have already booked for next year. »
