« I spent 4 nights at The Inn at Moonlight Beach and I was still not ready to leave! Every morning I took a nice long stroll down Moonlight beach, and stopped off for coffee at Lofty. A wonderful breakfast basket was waiting for me when I returned with fresh fruit, a chia seed parfait and green juice. « The hotel was beautiful, the pool was great to relax by enjoy the sauna and cold plunge. The beach is a short walk down the stairs and is a pretty quiet beach, it does have a lot of rocks tho. The amenities being able to rent a bike, beach chairs and board were a lot of fun. There was lots of good restaurants a short bike ride away. The staff was all very friendly and helpful. »

« You can feel doors closing from other rooms while you are in your room and it shakes the room, walls are thin. Room overall was clean beds were ok and pool was clean. Breakfast was overall good, but everything wasn’t getting stocked and when we asked the staff they scoffed on the first morning there but there was no coffee at all, no cereal no milk. If these things don’t bother you I would say the room itself was good, and that’s what you get for a budget hotel. »

« One of the best features about this property is LOCATION, as it’s situated in South Carlsbad right off I-5, has an attractive swimming pool, and a great breakfast with hot food and two of those swanky Costa coffee machines. I have stayed in this Holiday Inn Express six times. What I particularly like, in addition to the aspects already mentioned is that it’s close to the ocean.
