Whether you just want a quiet get away to take in all nature has to offer or you want to float, kayak, trail ride, hike, fish, boat, sxs ride, explore beautiful springs, search for the wild horse herds or just do nothing! The stone (electric) fireplace was hand made with local rocks from the creeks and rivers. The two-bedroom cabin, both with queen size handmade log beds, is very spacious and is equipped with everything you will need for your stay. It has a large living room with comfy leather couch, big screen Smart TV, WIFI, full kitchen, large bathroom, and laundry. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, cooking pans and tools, electric smooth top stove & oven, toaster, microwave, 12 cup & pod coffee makers & complimentary coffee/sugar/creamer. The large private bathroom also includes complimentary shampoo/conditioner/lotion/soap. We also provide paper towels, TP, trash bags, dish soap, laundry pods and a multitude of household cleaners. We have a stackable washer/dryer for your convenience. The cabin also has a wonderful covered back patio, firepit out back with 4 chairs and a charcoal grill. The front of the cabin has an awesome covered porch to enjoy your morning coffee or evening cocktail. The Ranch House Cabin is located 1.25 miles down the gravel road from the main highway in a private setting at Old Desperado Ranch. There are only 2 cabins, 3 total, and 2 RV sites at the camp on the other side of the road so you will not be surrounded by people. The Ranch House Cabin also has a RV hookup at the cabin ($35/nt for 2 people) if you have a friend or family member who would like to join you. Just bring your food! We provide all linens and bathing towels (you will need to bring your own swimming towels). Sit on the porch while being surrounded by beautiful scenery. If you want quiet seclusion, this is the cabin for you. Old Desperado Ranch has 4 horse stalls available for BYOH guests to rent. Guided BYOH trail rides also available for add’l charge. Current River, Sutton's Creek and the Jacks Fork River are just a short trip down the gravel road for you to swim, fish or just relax and grill lunch! We can set you up with a local outfitter for floating that will pick you up from the cabin and bring you back after your float. It should be noted that our properties are located in a rural somewhat remote area of the Ozarks, where you will find many different forms of wildlife. Raccoons, deer, mice, snakes, eagles, wild hogs, black bear, skunks and opossums and may be a nuisance at certain times of the year. Other pest, such as ants, wasps, mosquitoes, spiders, bees, flies and gnats also live nearby. Each property has a regular/quarterly pest control device, but we cannot guarantee against guests seeing any animals or pests during their stay and therefor no refunds will be made for this.
