Loon Cabin Ć  WIlderness Wind est une cabane en rondins rustique qui dort quatre personnes sur la rive du lac Armstrong dans les zones de la rĆ©gion de Canoe Boundary Waters WIlderness. Cette cabine pittoresque dispose d'une cuisine avec eau froide, rĆ©frigĆ©rateur et cuisiniĆØre, une salle Ć  manger, une chambre avec un lit queen et deux lits superposĆ©s, et des douches chaudes, des lavabos et des latrines dans la maison de bain Ć  proximitĆ©. Il y a des siĆØges pour les invitĆ©s autour d'un foyer sur la rive du lac Armstrong. Vous pourrez nager, utiliser les canoĆ«s ou les kayaks pour pagayer sur le lac et utiliser le complexe comme point de dĆ©part pour prendre des pagaies dans les eaux limitrophes ou faire de la randonnĆ©e ou du vĆ©lo Ć  proximitĆ© du Masabi, visiter les attractions locales ou acheter des vĆŖtements et des Ć©quipements de plein air. et l'art local Ć  proximitĆ© Ely.

The Loon Cabin was perfect for the three of us.The cabin overlooks a beautiful lake. Swimming, canoeing, and fishing, were our highlights.

The perfect family get away! Short drive to Ely, and other small towns. We had a wonderful time swimming in the lake and using the kayaks, canoes, and paddle board. We did not want to leave! Definitely would come back!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Loon Cabin. It was perfect for what we needed. The area is close to the cute town of Ely. We love that it was right on the water. The beds were very comforable and we slept very well. The communication with the property manager was great. I would highly recommend and we hope to stay there again.

The rustic Loon Cabin was perfect for the three of us. It was easy to find. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was cute and functional. Being close to the water was extra nice to view sunsets and enjoyed the breeze. We were pleasantly surprised by the cuteness of the cabin. The bath house was very clean and well kept. The location of the cabin was about 10 miles to Ely, and about 5-10 miles to two MN State Parks. We look forward to staying here again.

We loved our stay in The Loon at Wilderness Wind. We were able to enjoy quiet and beautiful surroundings looking out at Lake Armstrong even on our rain day. The night sky was spectacular. There are many amenities including grill, fire ring, canoes, kayaks and paddleboat. Communication with Jay, host, was excellent and he is such a welcoming person. The cabins are rustic with no bath but bathhouse with toilet and shower were nearby. We will be back for a longer time next time.

My husband and I celebrated our 47 wedding anniversary on the dock of Wilderness Wind. It was a beautiful spot to have a getaway with close family. We enjoyed fishing, kayaking, seeing the loons and much more! We toured the mine in Soudan as well, and that was very fun! Would highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a cabin/woodsy/up north getaway.

We had a great time staying at Loon Cabin on Armstrong Lake. The lake is quite shallow for a long way out on the shore, which was great for swimming. Jay was a welcoming host, and the property was well maintained with lots of thoughtful amenities. Be sure to take a look around and make yourself at home. The community pavilion has all sorts of useful supplies to make your stay even more enjoyable. We'll be back!

Wilderness Wind reminded me of a camp-experience without all the hoopla. The cabin was simple yet enough to cook good food and escape the bugs (it's June in Ely). The bathhouse was clean and only a few steps away from anywhere on site. The setting was quiet with beautiful sunset views. Jay and the team were friendly and helpful. We plan to return next year, hopefully for a longer visit!

Communication with the property manager was excellent. Very nice guy, extremely accommodating and very helpful. The fact that the bathrooms are located closely on the property, and water is supplied in abundance allowed us to stay for a week comfortably and enjoy an experience without all the typical amenities was a perfect experience for me and my 10 year old. Very much enjoyed the peace ans quiet. Easy access to kayaks, life jackets, and other extras was nice. We would come back to this resort and would recommend it. Thanks for your hospitality.

We stayed in the Loon Cabin and everything was cozy and tidy with so many things provided, super convenient. Right from the start our host Jay was fantastic! He made us feel so welcome and let us know where everything was located at the resort, and asked us to let him know if we needed anything at all. He even built a bonfire down by the lake each night where there were comfortable chairs around it for everyone to enjoy. We have two college age kids that came with us, and they loved the peaceful getaway right on the lake. The canoeing and kayaking were great, and watching the sunset while listening to the loons call was perfect! We will definitely stay again!
