The cabin has 4 bedrooms plus an overflow loft (sleeps 9), along with two full bathrooms. The kitchen is completely stocked to cook for an army if you’d like, along with a full size washer and dryer. After a long day of adventuring, enjoy the sauna and indoor hot tub, or warm up next to the fireplace. Outside there is plenty of space to park your trailers, plus a nice fire pit with plenty of wood to cook s’mores (cooking sticks provided).

If you want to do a little shopping or dining, the Alpine Village of Gaylord is just a quick 15 minute drive and offers several great local restaurants. If you care to venture out a bit further, the cabin is centrally located, allowing you to easily make a day trip to some of the best resort towns in the state (Mackinac Island - 70 miles, Petoskey - 50 miles, Traverse City -50 miles).

Looking for a home base for snowmobile or ATV riding? The cabin's proximity to Trail 4 makes it an ideal base for snowmobile or ATV enthusiasts, granting access to some of Northern Michigan's finest riding trails. Located in ‘the buckle’ of the Northern Michigan snowbelt, there is an average snowfall over 150 inches a year! Want to ski? Boyne Mountain – one of the largest ski resorts in Michigan – is less than 30 minutes away, and several smaller resorts are even closer.

As part of LOTN there are several amenities available right in the neighborhood, including Deer Run Golf Course, Settings Restaurant, an outdoor ice skating rink and two swimming lakes with playgrounds.
