Perfect for a family getaway. Very comfortable, beautiful waterfront, and great cooking space. The deck and dock were amazing places to hang out, and the beach is ideal for swimming. Loved it.

The house was absolutely perfect and was a great way to relax for the weekend. Very dog friendly (dog bed, treats, and water/food bowls already there) and comfortable. We look forward to making this spot an annual trip!

This property was the best VRBO rental we have ever stayed in. I can’t say enough about the entire experience. The lake was great, the smallmouth bass were hungry and plentiful, and the cabin was as advertised.

Great Location to View Fall Colors

We had a great stay on Beech Hill Pond. The house was comfortable and met all of our needs. We enjoyed the view from the house and sitting on the bench by the shore. This was a great location to visit Acadia and coastal towns as well as head in to view fall colors. We would revisit this spot on future visits to Maine.

Peaceful and Relaxing.

This house was everything we could ask for. It was so peaceful by the lake and offered us privacy. The house inside was beautiful and a place where we could just relax. We enjoyed hearing the loons out on the lake in the early morning and late evening hours. We enjoyed our time here and would stay here again.

Beautiful lake house

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hidden gem on Beech Hill Pond, which is a quiet and pristine lake perfect for swimming, fishing, and boating. The property is beautiful and private with its own boat ramp and dock. The house is well stocked and very comfortable for a family of 4. We enjoyed trips to nearby Bangor and Ellsworth. Would definitely rent again!

The property was amazing, we would like to complain about the wind hahaha or the rocks hahaha more pota and pants maybe we helped with that. The chipmunk observation - 5 stars! Beautiful stay !

The accommodations were great as was the service . 40 minutes to Bar Harbor , 30 to Acadia.. every morning it was calm them aroun9 a lihht breeze starts at the camp . By 6 pm we had a steady breeze and it was always comfortable and keep the insects at bay . Cool no bugs and a beautiful home with dock to dive off of . It was just a pleasure to enjoy .

Great Place with Awesome Sunsets!

Our family (grandparents, children and grandchildren) had a great time here. The lake was a big hit with everyone and we spent many hours swimming in the lake and enjoying the awesome sunsets at night. House was exceptionally clean and very welcoming. Loved the baskets full of items we might have forgotten to bring. House was close enough to Acadia National Park for us to visit several times. Host was quick to respond to my emails and very helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful Stay!

Had a wonderful stay at this lovely cottage on the lake. The cottage was nicely furnished and well equipped. We were a little disappointed that only 1 kayak was available instead of the 2 advertised but otherwise we had a lovely stay. I unplugged the air freshener right away as it was a little overpowering, and I would recommend adding a gate to the side of the desk so guests can sit out there and keep their kids and dogs contained fully - but otherwise, I would highly recommend this cottage as a wonderful lakeside retreat!
