  • Just north of Mount Desert Island on the Maine Coast, this charming cottage is the perfect New England escape. Beautifully renovated and tastefully restored, details like a large double-sided stone fireplace, cathedral ceilings, and heaps of natural light make for an inviting retreat.

    Explore nearby bike trails, or rent a kayak and spend a fun day on the water -- just steps from your deck. You'll also enjoy searching for hidden treasures in the wetlands at low tide. For more adventures, pack a picnic and spend the day at Lamoine Beach Park, less than a mile from your home.

    To experience the historic charm of New England, take a day trip to downtown Bar Harbor. Bike the old carriage roads and bask in the lovely locales. Enter your vacation home after exciting outings and you'll be greeted by a gorgeous two-sided gas fireplace with floor-to-ceiling stone surround partitions in the main living area and den on the first floor. Spend time together lounging on the comfortable furniture in the living area or the den watching your favorite shows on the 42” Roku TV. Sleek gray countertops contrast stylishly with the all-white cabinets and a tiled backsplash in the chef's kitchen, while high-end appliances include a five-burner gas range and a double oven. Prepping meals has never been more scenic with picturesque views of Eastern Bay. When it's time to eat, gather around the dining table with seating for your guests, or eat on the deck amidst amazing waterfront views. Speaking of the great outdoors, play games in the backyard or enjoy the warm ambience of the fire pit. When evening falls, fire up the grill and dine alfresco at the two tables on the expansive deck. Watch the sunset over the bay on the Adirondack chairs. Beach chairs, two beach cruiser bikes, and a convenient Pack n' Play are available for guest use. Peaceful, easy feeling

Tremendous accommodations in the vicinity of Bar Harbor and Trenton but without the noise and crowds. Great to watch the Frenchman Bay, sunset and wild animals from the deck.

We love the house. The view was amazing. It was a little far driving to Acadia but not too bad. The weather was great most days. One day was pretty warm and there isn't any air conditioning but it was okay. Overall a great stay.

We walked into a clean and well appointed space with the fireplace going - as part of the temperature control (?), either way super welcoming and cozy first impression. Ocean view was amazing. We saw 7 deer walking along the waters edge over two mornings which was awesome.Kitchen was stocked with all we needed. Beds were comfortable (my oldest who struggles to sleep said he slept as well there over the three night stay as he could ever remember!), and WiFi connection and streaming was great. Bathrooms were clean with the shower in the main an exciting feature (rain, jets, and sprayer).My whole family wanted to live there.

We had a wonderful time at their house. Property and location is beautiful. Place was spotless and well appointed for a family. Can’t imagine a better place to enjoy the coast of Maine and have quick access to Acadia. We’ll be back next year!!

Fantastic Vacation Home

Beautiful views, well appointed, easy drive to all of Mt. Desert Island. Lots of wildlife and bird watching. Can’t think of a better place for a morning cup than the amazing back deck. Highly recommended!

Great Location and beautiful views, just 30 minutes from Bar Harbour and close to Acadia. The place is cute with big windows and spacious yard. The upstairs beds were very small and the wifi would not work for my computer, honestly we expected a bit more for the money.

Beautiful private beach location with wonderful biking opportunities.

We brought our family of 4 for a safe school vacation. We spent wonderful early mornings and late nights by the water. An easy 30 min drive to Bar Harbor and into Acadia National Park. House setup was warm and wonderful for home cooking and game nights. We hope to one day return. Highly recommend for families looking to unwind!

The house was immaculate and well stocked. We appreciated the kid friendly games and the fire pit supplies. A whole-house water filter would have helped to mitigate the water’s sulfur smell. We had a great time!
