« Porch chairs need replacing badly. The main floor couch, though inviting, finds one challenged to sit up. Same with game room. MBR chair is optimal. Wireless does not support streaming services well. Excellent kitchen, dining, stove, fridge, appliances. DR table with view very nice. Need to convert cleaning closet into pantry for guests supplies. Proximity to main road a little off putting. Bedrooms were spacious and clean. Bathrooms were modern and enjoyable.Down side »

« The Mountain View’s on the property are the best around. Sunsets right in front of the deck and you see a sunset almost every night. The river down below would be visible in the winter. Otherwise the view is beautiful with the woods and distant mountain ranges. There is a gravel road just less than a mile up that leads down to the river if you decide you want to hike to the river. »

« This house was perfect for our family of 9. There was plenty of space for everyone! We enjoyed playing games, walking around the lake and fishing while we were there. « BEWARE. This is an inaccurate web description. The property description says this is a luxurious home fit for royalty. What you will actually find is a FILTHY home with beautiful mountain views. It had obviously not been cleaned in a long time. I spent my vacation CLEANING. I had to wash sheets in order to sleep the first night (there were crumbs, hairs, animal debris, and even an sock BETWEEN the sheets) so at 11:30 on our first night I was washing sheets. « The Good: The cabin was beautiful and well equipped. The fireplace was also a nice and the bed was comfy. The Bad: Directions and navigation were a problem. Turns and signposts were not well marked/visible. When we were having trouble finding the property, the host said they couldn’t speak by phone, only text.
