The Space

This beautifully rustic cabin is situated DIRECTLY on the Cartecay River just minutes from downtown Ellijay. The moment you arrive; the sound of the river sets the tone for your entire stay. With 4 bedrooms, 3½ bathrooms, and sleeping space for 12, there's plenty of room for everyone to spread out and still come together. Three separate bedroom/living areas connected by walkways, perfect for multifamily/small groups wanting private space.



Cozy up to the fireplace after a day on the river or gather in the fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to cook for the whole group. Step out back to the hot tub, fire pit, and decks overlooking the river — nothing but flowing water and 2,000 acres of wildlife management area on all 3 sides. Pure North Georgia. Located at the end of the street, nothing but privacy and wildlife!



Fish right off the back, wade in, tube down, or just sit and listen. The river is your backyard. High speed WiFi throughout!



Building 1

Main living space, kitchen, fireplace and large open deck with grill. Upstairs master king ensuite with full bathroom and a private deck overlooking the river upstairs. Main family room includes a sleeper sofa.



Building 2

Connected by couple stairs and covered walkway. Includes large open king bedroom ensuite, full bathroom, and a queen loft bed accessible by study wood ladder stairs. Also includes private entrance.



Building 3

Third private living/bedroom space accessible walkway/bridge. Includes a king bedroom with open living area with a sleeper sofa couch upstairs. Downstairs includes a bunkroom with 4 twins, full bathroom with tub/shower unit and a game room with foosball, video game, PS4 and board games.

Ellijay is one of Georgia's most charming mountain towns and there is no shortage of things to do: tube or kayak the Cartecay, fish for trout, hike the many area trails, tour local wineries, pick apples at nearby orchards, and explore the adorable shops and restaurants of downtown Ellijay and Blue Ridge. Fall brings the famous Georgia Apple Festival (October) with corn mazes, u-pick orchards, petting zoos, and farm markets.

2 house-trained dogs with up-to-date vaccinations allowed ($150 pet fee per stay, nonrefundable). More than 2, contact owner for permission.

Please bring crate/bedding for your pet.

Please do not use our towels on your pet.

Guests are responsible for any pet damages. No pets on furniture or in hot tub. Additional housekeeping fee of $25–$250 if pet hair is found on furniture. Pet hair found in hot tub or filter: minimum $100 charge (nonrefundable).

Outdoor security cameras on property for security purposes.
