Everything was as promised and matched the photos on line. It was clean, clean, clean. Not a cobweb was noticed nor crumb or dust bunny. The town was a cute as can be. Listening to the Umpqua river from the deck was amazing. We are already planning when we want to return.

We had a fabulous, peaceful stay at Burke's River View! Jerrry's place is wonderfully appointed, thoughtfully decorated and organized and spacious. The AC and integrated ice maker in the freezer were fabulous to have during the summer heat wave. The online pictures don’t do the interior justice—it looks brand new inside and looks like a professional stager decorated the home. The well furnished back deck was a perfect spot to enjoy the sound of the river. We enjoyed walking to the quaint town for breakfast and ice cream. We would definitely recommend this gem in Elkton and will stay again!

Our first time to Elkton! Such a sweet little town. The property overlooked the river and RV park. RV park was clean and quiet and back patio had a clear view of river with grassy area of RV park. You can hear the river when you sleep. Property was one of the cleanest we’ve stayed at and Jerry was a pleasure to work with. Very attentive host and easy to reach. We will most definitely be back in years to come!

Perfect home and location for our women's weekend! Beds very comfy, kitchen well stocked, home was very clean, beautiful deck with amazing view of the river. We walked 1 block to enjoy a couple of tasting rooms, fun gift and home store, and a great bakery. Large TV so we could watch a movie. Will stay here again!

Loved our stay! The house was stocked with everything we needed to cook a great meal. The beds and pillows were so comfortable we didn’t want to get out of bed and the view of the river was just perfect! The cute little patio set made our mornings with coffee and evenings with sunset/wine picture perfect. Can’t wait to come back this summer! Thanks for a great little getaway!

The house had a nice layout with a bedroom and bath at each end of the house and with the kitchen and living space in the center. It was very clean and comfortable as promised! Check in at 4pm was fine but check out at 10am was too early. Understandably, the few places in town had limited hours due to Covid.

So much to like about this property and they expanded the deck area. Great to have a place to come back and rest in comfort, take a shower and do a load of clothes after fun days on the river. Within walking distance to all the restaurants in Elkton. Owner is super helpful and responsive.

Elkton is a quaint little community with great wineries to explore. The location of this rental is a block off the beaten path and has a beautiful view of some Umpqua River rapids. The house is well stocked with everything you would need, the beds are very comfortable, and the entire feel of the place is peaceful. I will definitely be booking future stays for my own private retreats!

We so enjoyed our stay here in Elkton. We come every year for a family gathering and it was so nice to have a comfortable place to stay. Jerry was very helpful beginning with my reservation to little questions I had along the way. This Mimi was traveling with my 2 young granddaughters on this trip . Not knowing the area I was very choosy as to where I might travel and what home I was renting for the girls and I. I'm very pleased with our stay, the split wing house as ill call it was a good nice size . the girls shared a room at one end of the house, had there own bathroom. I had my room with a bathroom as well that also had a washer&Dryer for your light loads it was nice to dry your towels after a day at the river. So there was no BBQ with the nice heat wave we had during our stay and limited restaurants open in the area with limited hours I would have enjoyed having a nice BBQ and not heated up the house while cooking dinners. However I'm aware Jerry can't control the weather. lol With that said I should tell you there are 2 coolers, one in each bedroom that work well. Jerry had put a fan in the living room to help with the heat. So back to meals we had everything we needed to cook Jerry has the kitchen stocked , coffee maker, toaster, blender , nice selection of pots and pans and lots more. So the girls and I walked to the river everyday so take life vest my girls had a blast ANOTHER thing take a river tube to have fun in the water there's a great rapid just on the other side of the rocks within walking distance including a fun little waterfall all the kids and adults enjoyed it. I say ALL because we made lots of friends during with either campers below in the RV park some have been coming there for years. OK Parents, so the light blow up water toys don't last long with the sharp rocks so bring something durable and NO you can't just buy one once you arrive, this Virus has caused some delays with shipping you have to drive 35 miles to Roseburge(nice town)We went, it has Fred Myers, Big 5,Walmart, Dollar treeand so many more including fast food. I can't remember the other 2 we went to just looking for a tube but ALL stores were sold out! So shop B4 you go. Fishing and hicking was fun we did a little of that as well. Just about 7miles away you drive over to this nice area and pick your own berries that was fun we also walked over to the little general store most nights and got our yummy Ice cream cones before our evening walk. This was a beautiful spot thank you Jerry we will be back I'd love to share this experience one day with more members of my family .

This place is remarkably nice. It is super clean, has the nicest towels I have ever experienced, and a great quiet location with easy access to Elkton's riverfront park, coffee shops and restaurants. The kitchen is ready for photo shoot and the TV is a bonus. The river view is best enjoyed from the balcony which serves as a balcony running the length of the house and has access from both bedrooms and the main room. The screens over the doors allow for fresh air and very easy access in and out of the house without the usual fuss over a door.
