« Stayed here with another couple for a long weekend on the bourbon trail. The property is well located in Bardstown, close to downtown, so you can walk or do a quick drive. The home is well appointed with everything we needed and communication with the owner was excellent. Like other reviewers mentioned, the second bathroom is located through the office. Not an issue, just something to be aware of. Overall great stay. »

« Had an amazing time, beautiful property, and excellent accommodations! We stayed for 5 days and took advantage of the peacefull nature and tranquillity of the property. « We were up in Kentucky for 4 days, this house was our home away from home. The kids loved it and the beds are amazing! It's too bad we didn't have time to enjoy the fire pit, we would have loved that as well as the grill if we had another night to stay. They have already told me to we have to stay there again next year. It's 10 minutes from Kroger, James Beam Distillery and the Bernheim Forest and Makers Mark Distillery is not too far as well. »

« We had a fabulous time staying at Derby City Retreat! The house is brand new and kept so clean. Little details that make a big difference like leaving wood for us to use in the fire pit and travel size shampoo etc are such nice touches and very appreciated. « My husband, sister and I stayed at the Lake House in mid-September 2023. We visited Campbellsville area to visit relatives. The house was very clean, comfortable and close to many different activities. The only "issue" is the wifi is "spotty" and the router needed to be re-booted periodically however, this was not a real problem for us.
