« Stayed here to visit Mammoth Cave National Park and some of the Bourbon Trail. Conveniently located for both (1 hr to Mammoth and 45min to Louisville). Visit Churchill Downs as well. Unit is very nice, clean and well appointed with dedicated parking right adjacent to the front entry.Bedrooms are very quiet and bar/restaurants in close walking distance. Only negative is between 7-9 pm it seems to be a thing for local trucks & motorcycles to rev their obnoxiously loud vehicles through the...

« This house was in a great location for our bourbon trail trip! The kitchen was excellently stocked - our chef friend was super impressed! It was nice to have the options for cereal, oatmeal, and waffles for breakfast provided/included. We also appreciated the coffee, tea, and snacks being included. The bedrooms and bathrooms were as described and worked very well for us! »

« Alan was a great host. Gave us information about things to do in the area. He responded quickly when we told there was an issue with the ice maker. It was fixed quickly The house was very clean and was roomy enough for the 6 of us. The patio was great for our early morning and evening relaxing. Only negative is that the property is outside of Bardstown - about 10 minutes. We we out and about most days so it was not a big deal. We would stay there again. »

« “Wow!” That was our reaction when we opened the front door! The home was beautifully decorated! And well appointed with everything we needed. The exterior of the home was well groomed and fresh. We spent evenings chatting around the fire pit. We would definitely stay again during future visits! Thank you to John for being such fabulous host! »

« My husband, son and daughter in law had a wonderful stay at the Farmwife's Hideaway! Great communication, easy check in, perfect location. The home was clean, well stocked with everything needed for a great stay. We were close to the Bourban Trail, Bardstown and everything we wanted to do. The fresh eggs were a very special treat!! We would stay again on our next trip to bourban country! »
