« It was a very nice and relaxing stay. The location was peaceful and relatively easy to get to from San Diego. The house was very clean, open space, and the living room was cozy with a nice wood burning fireplace. The kitchen was nice and big, great for hanging out during family dinner prep. The outdoor space was peaceful. I would recommend staying here to others that would like a nice getaway from the city. »

« Stay two nights in this beautiful property. The small cabin was cozy and quaint. Even arriving a bit late, the private roads were easy enough to navigate with the hosts directions (it does get a little bumpy though, be warned). The kitchenette was great. The view was gorgeous. A very happy weekend getaway for us. »

« Wonderful tiny cabin. We had a great visit celebrating my husband’s birthday. Very clean with beautiful views of the natural beauty and wildness surrounding it. Was able to get some fantastic photos of the sunset from the front porch as well. Would definitely recommend it to others. »

« Incredible location and Cabin/Treehouse even better than description/Photos. Unfortunately, it rained all three days of stay which limited our activities. Fortunately with a Spa/Hot Tub the interior was very cozy, clean and all the amenities one needs. Beautiful view and would definitely go back! It was a real hidden gem! »

« Amazing step back in time but still with all the modern amenities. Gread deck to sit on and watch the wild life. We've been coming to Julian for at least 20 years to visit our daughter and stayed at so many different places in and around Julian. This has been our favorite so far and plan to keep coming back to this cabin. »

« We have stayed twice at this property, both times over a Presidents weekend. The rental cost is a good deal. 3 bedrooms and a big backyard for kids. Keep in mind no forced air heating or air conditioning. Wood burning stove and fans. The kitchen is small but very workable. Two of the bedrooms have good beds, one has a mattress that really should be replaced. I like this spot, it's very convenient, very affordable, we'll likely come again! »

« We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this house just minutes from main street in Julian. Although the house is close to Julian, it is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood.The special vintage touches in decor along with modern comforts made us feel right at home. The Franklin cast iron stove was cozy and kept us warm. The mountain view, the trees, and quaint street were so lovely!The special family story of the early beginnings of the cabin to it's current state was heartwarming. Definitely created...

« We booked this location especially because it was dog friendly. We absolutely loved it and it exceeded our expectations. Paul was great and called the day we got there to make sure we didn’t have any questions and to let us know specifics. Such a quiet and relaxing area, the cabin is also very fun with all the little details. It was a pretty hot weekend, and the beds still had the winter flannel sheets, but other than that it was perfect. »

« This was a perfect weekend stay for us who live in Ramona and didn't want to drive for hours. It was quiet, private, comfortable and our favorite thing was the deck and views of the lake, sunrise and sunset. The bed and pillows were very comfortable so much that I ordered the same pillows on Amazon. Great for side sleepers. No hair dryer so bring your own. We will be back for sure!!! »

« As we pulled into the driveway of the A-Frame and saw the welcoming sign that said "You're Here!", snow began to dust my windshield. This quickly became a hailstorm which gave way to a heavy snowfall. Giant flakes fluttered to the ground as we explored our new digs and my kids and I quickly headed out to build a snowman, The retreat must be packed with renters in the warmer months. During our stay in early March, I think we saw three other people the entire time. That just enhanced the feeling...

« We enjoyed our weekend cabin. It is small cabin but we were comfortable. The master bedroom had no T V. The great room TV was freezing up on our 1st day. The bathroom on downstairs had spider webs and shower had dead spiders. The parking was confusing and complicated. »
