Egg Harbor Escape | Hot Tub | Cedar Sauna | Privacy
- Escape to your own private retreat in the town of Egg Harbor, this home offers a much more private and secluded experience while still being just a short drive from Door County’s restaurants, shops, beaches, wineries, and attractions.
Surrounded by nature and tucked away on a peaceful private road, this property was designed for guests looking to truly disconnect, unwind, and enjoy the quiet side of Door County. The large surrounding lots, wooded setting, and private outdoor spaces create a relaxing atmosphere that feels far removed from the crowds.
One of the most unique parts of this property is that guests get to enjoy TWO completely different hot tub experiences:
• A traditional electric hot tub — ready anytime for an easy relaxing soak
• A cedar wood-burning soaking tub — a cozy hands-on experience that brings you back to simpler moments, an experience that will make you slow down and pause…
The wood-burning cedar soaking tub is more than just a hot tub — it’s part of the experience of the stay itself. Guests fill the tub, light the fire, and slowly heat the water while enjoying the peaceful surroundings. From the crackling firewood to the smell of cedar and the steam rising into the cold winter air, it creates an unforgettable experience you simply can’t get from a regular spa.
The backyard was designed to feel like your own secluded outdoor oasis. Under the pergola with twinkling lights, you’ll find outdoor seating, a bar area, an egg chair, and spaces to gather with family and friends. Enjoy grilling on the deck, sharing drinks around the fire, or relaxing beneath the stars after a sauna session.
The barrel sauna adds another level of relaxation, especially during the colder months. Step from the warmth of the sauna into the crisp Door County air for the ultimate cozy winter experience.
Inside, the home blends comfort and charm with a nautical-inspired great room, comfortable seating, fireplace, and thoughtful touches throughout. A second living room features a gallery wall with local art and additional space to gather. The home comfortably sleeps groups and families with:
• 1 King bedroom
• 2 Queen bedrooms
• Sleeper sofa in second living room
There is a full bathroom and an additional half bath for convenience.
Guests have access to the entire home, backyard, and front yard. (Garage and owner closets are not accessible.)
We are always available through the platform if you need anything during your stay, and additional contact information is provided in the guest book.
A few things to note before booking:
• Rental agreement required to finalize booking
• Property is on well water — filtered drinking water is provided and guests are welcome to bring additional bottled water if preferred
• Door County soil naturally contains iron; outdoor hose filters and a water softener are installed for guest comfort
• Home is located on a regularly maintained private gravel road
• Cold plunge and outdoor shower close during freezing months and typically reopen late April/early May depending on weather
