Spacious 3 bedroom main floor bungalow with large backyard and bbq for those hot summer days and cozy fireplace on those cool winter nights. Walking distance to river valley. Close to west Edmonton mall and zoo, and downtown. This beautiful home is a very large main floor bungalow with a bonus storage room in the basement. The other part of the basement has private suite with a separate guest and entrance.

Disappointing stay - would not recommend

Disappointing Stay – Would Not RecommendWe rented this VRBO to attend our son’s soccer tournament with friends, but unfortunately, the experience fell far below expectations. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a pair of underwear on the front lawn, not exactly a welcoming first impression.What was not made clear in the listing is that there is a live-in tenant on-site with two access points into the rental space: one through a shared laundry room and the other through the backyard. This significantly impacted our privacy and comfort. There are also dining room windows that look directly into the tenant’s basement space, which he had blocked with cardboard — an unsettling detail.Several listed amenities were in poor condition or unusable. The BBQ was filthy and required pliers to turn on, the microwave didn’t work at all, and only three burners on the stove were functional. The so-called “bonus area” was essentially unusable, with old rugs thrown around haphazardly.To make matters worse, the host was completely dismissive of our concerns and unapologetic about the misrepresentation and poor condition of the home.This property needs significant maintenance and a more honest, accurate description. We expected much better, especially given the price point and the purpose of our trip.

This was our first time staying at an VRBO. Communication with Renee was GREAT. All of the extra amenities that were provided in addition to the basics in the kitchen, ie.. coffee, shampoos, body wash were a nice surprise. Loved the Welcome homemade Chocolate Chip Cookies. Would Love to stay there again if we go back.

Excellent. The property was clean and well appointed. The chocolate chip cookies on arrival a nice touch. Our dog enjoyed the sunny back yard. I enjoyed the sunny deck for my morning coffee.

Beautiful home only minutes away from West Edmonton Mall. It had everything you would need. Communication with the owner was great, accessing the home and garage was simple, and we even got a plate of home baked cookies upon our arrival!

Girls Nights

I would highly recommend this property and the property manager. Pictures and amenities exactly as shown and described, beautiful home with close proximity to WEM and downtown. Great communication leading up to, during and after our stay. For a girls weekend in the city this was the perfect little escape! Will book again :)

Edmonton Wedding

Coming to Edmonton for a family wedding. Four in group but also meeting long time friends from Edmonton. It was just what we needed so friends and family could all visit in one place and gather before the wedding. Excellent location and host responded to any of our questions very quickly. House address was a little difficult to see but once spotted east to pass on directions to the home .

Great stay!

For the most part, this place is perfect and as described. It is my son’s 16th birthday and he wanted to go to wem. I was unable to get two hotel rooms with one adult, had never done Vrbo, and I have to say it is exactly what we needed. Couple small things. First, there is someone living in the basement. While this would not have deterred me from booking, it should have been disclosed somehow. It weirded me out when I was in the master room and could hear music through the vents, thought it was a neighbor. Then we realized there was someone living in the basement. Second, the shampoo conditioner and body wash bottles in the master shower were empty. This was super annoying as I was mid shower and had to wrap in a towel and go to main bathroom to get the products
 you can imagine how fabulous that was with three teenage boys in the living room. That being said, this still is a lovely place in a perfect location. The home is welcoming and comfortable. Everything was easy to find and works well. Nice quiet neighborhood was nice as well, and the proximity to the mall is great. I would absolutely stay here again and hope that the shampoo bottles in the master bath are full next time! Thank you Renee!!

Enjoyable stay

Very good host, she was very accomodating and excellent communication skills. Home was very clean and had everything we needed. You could tell it was important to the host that we enjoy our stay. The only negative was there was a renter downstairs, which we didn't realize. You could hear him throughout the day/night. Not a huge deal though. Overall, we would definitely recommend this host and property. Thank you for the enjoyable stay.
