Our fenced yard is not fully secure, so please do not leave your pet in the yard while you are off the property. We cannot be responsible for your dog getting loose. Our neighbors are farmers and do not take kindly to dogs running loose on the island and on their property.
We have neighbors behind our home though the forest obscures the view. They are closer than you think so please be mindful of late night fun in the backyard. Thanks!!

We highly recommend bringing your own vehicle or renting a car once you arrive via ferry. While Orcas Island is walkable in some areas, many of the island’s most scenic spots—like Moran State Park, Cascade Lake, and Turtleback Mountain—are best reached by car.

Additional Tip: Be sure to book your rental in advance, especially during peak travel seasons, as availability can be limited on the island.

▪️The driveway gate operates with push buttons on each side of the gate. DO NOT STOP in the swing path of the gate.

DOG GUIDE ▪️A $150 non-refundable pet fee per dog will apply. ▪️Dogs are welcome but must not roam loose. The yard is fenced but not fully secure, so they can find their way out. ▪️Two-dog limit only. No cats or other animal pets. ▪️Dogs MUST NOT be left alone in the house or in the yard while you are off the property. ▪️No dogs on any furniture or bedding ▪️Please trim nails and groom before coming to reduce scratches on wood floors ▪️Please bring your dog's bed and other items to help them relax with familiar scents.
