« We enjoyed our stay and the comforts of the Fox Den! It was a great base camp for daily mountain adventures and we appreciated the cleanliness, the outdoor space and the fully equipped kitchen. The only downsides of our stay include the noise from the upstairs renters—we had a hard time sleeping because you could hear their every movement and it lasted into the early morning hours. « The apartment was immaculate and nicely furnished. It is located in a quiet neighborhood with some pretty walking areas. It is connected to a large home’s garage and shares the driveway/ parking areas. Family lives in adjoining house, so doesn’t feel totally private. There are steep stairs to climb up to the apartment so if that is an issue- good to know. I was expecting a keyless entry. There are 2 attached keys in 2 separate lockboxes requiring combo codes to access the keys. Not the easiest...

« My cousin and I planned this trip so that we could do some biking on the C & O Canal Towpath. We loved that the host provided bikes for our use and were able to hit the trail for a bit in spite of a rainy weekend. The location of the property was ideal for this. We also found several wineries in close proximity and added those to our itinerary since we were not able to bike as much as we would have liked to. The house was very cute and clean and had everything that we needed during our stay....

« Glenn, the host was truly the best. Accommodating in every way. The house was clean, spacious and located on a manicured lot. The view was awesome. Right on the river. We ate every meal on the outside covered deck. Every aspect of our stay was awesome. Our only regret was we had to leave. I can't say enough good things about this awesome property and host. »

« Nice quiet place. Nice new deck. Good location. Helpful owners. The only downside was the hot tub water was not clean on arrival. Did not use. Recommend to owner to instruct renters to add cleaning solution upon arrival if that’s what is required for it to be usable. Otherwise, a nice place to stay. »
